With every few chapters, it seems your writing is improving. You are clearly well focused with this story, and the state of the work is very nice. Cliffhangers-you seem to like those :)

Why do I feel like Capron knows she's a magician? and this whole elf blood thing and the fruit...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe she's an elf?

I like how she seems to be gaining some control over her magic and I feel like she will be able to improve which is a good and exciting thing.

Oh goodness gracious-wonderful chapter, as usual.

I loved the imagery in this chapters with regards to movements:

recoiled like a spring

the king's hand dangling lazily over his chair's arm (which brings me to my ideas about how the king is messed up and something is oging to happen-he is too trusting, his daughter too sneaky and his wife too sickly.)

And Croft-idk about him, seems crafty.

oh and the fact the king wants to keep the friends-too shady...hmmmmmmmmmmm

I love how Capron has such authority and command yet you can't hate him. I only fear for Ardis now-that snake woman with poisoned fangs-agh!

I think this chapter went somewhere-it's fast but this is perfect-it's not so fast that it's hard to follow but fast enough to make it enjoyable.

One thing, though, I'm not sure if the princess would spill her secrets so quickly, that's the only thing.

And I'm worried about Nixon and Imara-what's going to happen to them?

I feel like Ardus going to the stables will help her out but I think the fact that she threw the paper across the room will be a mistake bc someone will find the paper, maybe the princess or someone else, and they will follow Ardis to the stable and problems will arise-maybe Caprson will follow her...idk...

What I am liking greatly is that Ardis is growing-she is gaining more confidence and works to not be intimidated by anyone even a beautiful princess. I find it interesting that many people seem to be intimidated by those who have been deemed attractive-i wonder why?...beauty is something physical and yet we can lose all semblance of calmness and confidence in the face (no pun intended) of beauty...i like how Ardis is intimidated and yet is working to overcome her fear/discomfort/etc.

And please post the next chapter tonight-i have to know what happens next!

And I just love reading Ardis and Capron scenes,esp when they get all tense which is what they usually are-i love it!

i am so so so very much looking forward to reading more chapters! the plot is thickening so much and there are so many ways the events could unfold-i think Ardis's father may be killed no matter what and he may already be dead or at least tortured or he may necessary for something else idk but i don think she will get her father back at least not alive. i am looking forward to reading about how ardis will convince Caprson that magic is good or can be at least. And because I'm all weird-i think they'll get married and live happily ever after lol but that may be bc ive reado s many fairy tales ;p anyway wonderful story i am thoroughly enjoying it deeply!

Oh my goodness this story is so damn good it's ridiculous. I love it!

One thing though haha is the cliche prophecy thing :) but still, i like that it's a girl who's humble and who will become powerful. still cliche but the rest of the story is wonderful. I would have preferred if Ardis was not destined by fate/prophecy but by her own will/decision-it would make it a much more interesting read and make it seem that she is not a pawn in fate's chessboard.
