This chapter was really nice. I was starting to wonder why Felix hadn't shown up. And I can't believe that Capron is marrying Katrin and most importantly why? I would love to see how Ardis is going to win him back.

OH NUUUUUUUUUU HE'S MARRYING HER?! This chapter made me cry. That is he thinking?! I CAN'T TAKE THE SUSPENCE!

First things first, I highly, highly approve of your music choice! Even though they broke up forever ago, The Hush Sound has been one of my favorite bands for years. They're not very widely known so I get excited anytime I hear them mentioned. ;)

Second, excellent chapter. Heartwrenching, as usual. And I'm reaaally, really hoping whatever Felix shows Ardis next chapter will make me feel better about this new obstacle. Ardis' emotional scene was perfect. She's usually so stoic, so when she did finally break down, it was just that much more bitter. Her life is being threatened at every turn, she's in love with a man that she cannot have but will risk everything for. I really do think you've shaped her character wonderfully. She's developed and grown A LOT since the beginning of the story. I'm so attached. ;l
I hope my comments don't ever freak you out. I just really, really like this story.x)

You updated, wonderful! A late update is better than no update at all. Although I felt like nothing was really gained by their "chat," I am interested as to how he will take her declaration of undying loyalty (which sounds odd because normally males do that in a book). I would really like to see Capron and Ardis sit down and have a grueling conversation. He does not understand the sacrifices that she is making to guard him. That is frustrating. But not much can be done at this time, I guess... When Ardis listened to Capron, I did wonder if it was out of fear or due to her unconscious trust in the man. She is hardly a dog, but the only one she would truly consider listening to at this point is Capron so... They really need to have a talk. I am really, really, REALLY weary of Torin now. He just needs to disappear. And now for the unanswered questions...
Is Ardis ever going to tell him?
Is Capron ever going to tell her that he loves her?
Can they still mind communicate?
Where in the world is Felix?
Will Ardis ever kiss Capron?
How much of Adis' magic is being drained?
Will she still be able to protect him?
Will she lose her powers completely?
Will they get married?
How much worse can this really get?
*Sigh* Now that all of that is off my chest, I am prepared to wait however long it will take for the next chapter. Please do not take 238489 weeks, though! ;)

Wow! My exams finally got over and I was surprised to see how much this story had traveled by then. The plot has turned out to be beautiful. I was really happy to see the character's personality being unraveled especially Ardis and Capron. Your writing was as usual splendid and I think it has evolved quite a lot from the one you started the story with. I sense the end is near but you made the journey worthwhile and enjoyable. Can't wait for more! Happy writing!
