I liked the story, but it seemed like a very abrupt ending. I get that there probably wasn't much more to say, it just seemed like ch22 was in the middle of a story and then all the sudden 23 was an epilogue. Not sure what was missin though. I guess the conflict was just more subtle, so it didn't make as much of a climax, like a more emotional scene where Rory admits he really has a problem or Deacon is abused by his dad and comes to terms with the fact that he really is in an abusive family. Without something to come down from, it seemed abrupt.

I just read this entire thing in one sitting... loved every second. Their relationship is so sweet and caring and just the whole thing in general was very well written! I felt like I could really get into Rory's head. Seriously, I can't tell you what an amazing read this was. Kudos!

Rory's tendencies seem to me that he has Aspergers. Could you tell me if he does or not? I loved the story, by the way.

Ha! I just read your story in one go and let me tell you I loved it. When I started the story I was hoping Deacon wouldn't turn out to be an asshole in every way. I was pleasantly surprised to fall in love with him the more the chapter went on :) The only part where I was a little thrown was that night they had sex, but I'm glad he and Rory sorted that out and he apologized.

Rory was simply adorable through and through though. It was hilarious to read his views on everything especially on love. He's so pragmatic about sex and love, you can't help but laugh. But it's adorable he opened himself little by little to Deacon. I really love the way you showed Rory change little by little and fight his OCD. I also loved how near the end, you can see how much Rory cared for Deacon when no matter what he does or where he is, he always has to mention Deacon.

I really like Rory's mom and his sister. I like that his sister, despite being hurt never took it out on Rory and instead kept caring about him. Even when she wasn't happy with the situation, she kept to herself instead of harassing Rory and Deacon. I would love to see some bits about her and her new boyfriend in the epilogue as well as much more of Rory and Deacon in college.

Love your writing. It's witty and has a very nice flow to it. I'm going to check out your other stories. Thank you for such a lovely read.

So I finished this, and as I was in bed thinking about it, I was like that was a good and it should really just end like that. I log on and it says completed (though when I read it I didn't realize it was the last chapter). If you write an epilogue I want to see Rory sending Deacon off to College or maybe Deacon visiting Rory next Christmas, Deacon being jealous (when Rory joins the swim team and meets a guy and becomes friends) or when Rory is going off to college. I am not sure why I find Rory so likeable, but its probably the way his logic works. Anyways I loved it. Happy Holidays!
