| Erysimum chapter 1 . 2/21/2012
Hmm, interesting! Quite a departure from some stuff you've done in the past! I like the story in the poem and all the things left unsaid; details are revealed as it progresses but it's still a mystery, which gives the poem a nice universality. I see faded relationships and regret, a life not capitalised on when she had the chance and now slipping out of her reach; it's sad.
I think you write well when you try to get into other peoples' heads :)

Amazing. Another poem that ventures into drabble (super-short story) territory, with a steady pace and a beautiful metaphor for an aging relationship. As the physical beauty of the roses withers, the sentimental beauty of the letter only grows. A gorgeous combination of youth and maturity that makes your work unique.
