Go Dylan! I really felt the exhaustion there and the despair. Thats why I like Dylan's POV once in a while. Where Roan is fully into the action and Holden refuses to think about normal life Dylan gives us the normal people perspective. It somehow feel like it might be the hardest one.

I like how this story is exploring not only Roan's relationship with the virus and his lion but Dylan's relationship with them as well. To be with Roan you have to be with all three elements of him; Roan is a trinity, the virus is his father and the lion his holy ghost. I also appreciate seeing Dylan being Roan's partner, caring, etc. and that connecting with others in Roan's village is part of this. Roan is not going to go alone, raging into the night. Dylan being in love with Roan and being there is one of the things that makes this story readable because without him Roan's life would be bleak.

Also I like the quiet humour, the phone set to gibberish (or not),'So you married a Super Hero', etc.

I like Dylan's hand on Roan's chest, just checking.

Poor Brian. And lucky Roan. I wonder if the mancrush would last through the discovery of the drug habit. What Roan really needs though is the X-men to suddenly not be a comic book.

Oh wow! It's christmas again! I'm so glad to see another Infected story. And the whole cast is here! This looks so, so promising. Will FBI be following Roan again? And that chapter was all kind of awesome. Every time I read something by you I am reminded how just how great your writing style is and how smooth a read it makes for.

Am thinking about Roan's stories now against the backdrop of the Republican party madness taking over the USA at the moment and as I type my comments, I am worried for Roan's safety and future especially. I wonder whether his stablity, sense and passion makes him more of a target in such an environment? What is on the page seems more real as the RL environment has change e.g. war on women. There are lots of threads now in the stories and there is a looming sense of doom as things get bigger and nowhere feels safe for the guys.

Not much to say about the chapter - I tend to need 2 or 3 to make sense of the flow and pacing. Just glad they are back. I like how the guys have changed and developed over the stories.
