Wow! This is an amazing story. I love the character's personality and the way she acts. I'm also pretty intrigued about how she thinks and the fact that she has selective mutism. It's really nice, really descriptive and it just makes me want to dive straight into the story. Love this first chapter! The best I've read in some time! Also, congratulations on the award! :)

Oh my about the bad boy with green eyes. I'd love to get to know him a little bit better! xD

So far, I am really enjoying this story. The main character is really interesting. I am so curious to know what happened exactly to make her stop talking.

This is such an intruding and well thought-out chapter. I instantly love your first person narrative and your main character is so intelligent, witty and mysterious which is probably the idea combination for an intro. I love the idea she is a detective and I’m still trying to figure out why he stole her salad (from the summary). My favourite line was about how there’s more cats than people and that his hair looks electrocuted - brilliant. It’s also amazing to know this was published as a story, that’s certainly encouraging for other budding writers. Thanks for sharing this amazing story and I hope to read more for your work. ZB.

Drawing chapter! I love her journal entries in the beginning. She's smart.

And the vandal-scandal-spiky-haired-rogue, is so weird. He's creepy. I mean, staring into people's homes with his nose sticking to their windows... Oh gods no scarysoscary!

Overall, it was an extremely fun-to-read chapter, had me smiling, to grinning, to laughing when the boy brought out a piece of cheese from his pocket to the neighbor's lampshade from a bag.

"Tree trunks for arms," such a humorous line. Made me chortle, and at the same time picturize how thickly muscled he must've been.

I'm sorry I couldn't give out a review as good as yours. x_x it made my day, and I presume this happens mostly because I've been reviewing nonstop all day (in another site). I'll be continuing to read, so of course, next comments shall be better. They should, anyway.

Your writing has charm. It's not as much as the story itself, but the prose. It stands out; it does not need to tell a story because it shows it instead. It's charismatic without trying too hard and easy to read without being simple. In short: it's great.

This showing, not telling goes to the characters as well. I like how you describe both personality and physique without taking a generic rout-and this goes both to the gangster guy and Ms. MC (whose name I couldn't catch).

I can see why this won an award. xD

Definitely reading more.
And like I said, I'll try to give better reviews next time.
