I'm new to Fictionpress and I was browsing through to see which story I could read first and I found yours interesting. I checked it out and I have to say that I'm impressed by your flawless work. This is amazing! What an interesting concept - a society of no emotions where a gas is given to keep people passive. But Charlotte doesn't take the gas. I like her character to so far and the music playing inside of her head. Very unique! This is just great. I'm so astounded right now . . . .

Yet another brilliantly crafted chapter. I have a feeling that Liam and Charlotte will be coming together soon. I have my hopes up so please don't let me down. Haha. Anyways, update soon. I'm craving to read more of your story so badly that I wish it was published so I can have it to read the whole story whenever I feel like it.

Another new character. I like Lilly. I'm glad that Charlotte has a friend to share stuff with and I suppose it's a good thing that Lilly works for the Entity. Everything seemed to be going really well and then you drop the ending of the chapter on us poor readers. LOL! Good ending to the chapter. It's getting more and more difficult for Charlotte to wheedle her way out of danger so I'm interested to see what happens to her.

Wow, this story really is one of the best things I've read in a while. Strong plot, fluent style, well developed characters, consistent structure & a relevant theme all help make this a brilliant piece of literature. This is a very promising story, so congratulations (: Please update soon!

And you end this one with a cliffhanger . . . Awesome! Finally I get to meet Abigail. Can't wait to see how she fits into the story. Also, I'm trying to figure out who the person is that slid into the booth with Charlotte. I doubt it's Liam, as it's still early in the story for them to come together (at least I imagine so). Can't wait to find out who it is!

Interesting info about Dr. Cato, as well as the secret informant. We have a mystery here and I wonder who that person could be. I love the contrast between Charlotte and Liam. It's like night and day! Amazing! One more chapter and I'll be caught up! Yay!

This chapter makes me really sad and forces the reader to come to terms with the true horrors happening in the "perfect" world of Paradise that the government tries to create with the Purge. If the Purge really is to blame for the cancer, then it demonstrates how governments try to do things for the better good of civilization as a whole but become so lost in their ideals that they fail to notice the negative effects of their actions! Very well-written story and analysis of the underlying corruption of the government of Paradise. I am loving this tremendously! I can see this story in bookstores next to the likes of Suzanne Collins and J.K. Rowling! You are a very talented writer and I can't to wait to read more of this well crafted story you're weaving here.

I'm really enjoying the adventure Charlotte faces while she care for her family. I love the suspense near the end. I wonder who the person is she recognize?

I love the contrast in this story between Charlotte and the (mostly) emotionless Liam. I'm so excited to see what happens.

Short but still good. Ouch. Charlotte is badass, using vodka to clean her wounds. Now, that's a real woman!
