I am happy that Nate found a boyfriend and that now he is happy tbh after reading Kellan point in this story I believe Nate is happier than Kellan but good job in both stories.

I read this back in the summer of 2012, so my review is not going to be very detailed. Actually, it's hardly a review at all, more like a simple comment as well as a recommendation.

I loved this story so much, which was a surprise to me. I stumbled upon it after finding a rec for Side Effects, which I didn't read through, just couldn't connect with the MC (forgot his name, its been close to two years), mainly because I found him irritating. Also, I've always had a thing about sequels when it comes to books/fics. The characters that were secondary in part one and MCs in part two usually end up as being my favorites.

So, even though these days I can actually afford to buy m/m books that are published, this remains one of my alltime favs. The characters are great, there's some angst and a happy ending. I would recommend this to anyone who's new to m/m, slash, yaoi, whatever is the correct term. The length is also just right, not too long but long enought that you can get to know tha caharacters.

I just want you to know that this is one of most beautiful stories I have ever read. Ever. The way you write... It's like you did it just for me. The details you choose to add, the way you allow Nate and Quentin to express their tension... It's perfect. I was attached from the very beginning. I felt like I was part of the story, like I was RIGHT there, beside Nate, feeling his desire. The way you describe everything is just exceptional. I am so in love with this story I've reread it and sent it to my friends to read. I just needed you to know that you're amazing and should be so proud. I'm practically worshipping this story.

NOOOOOOOOOO! Please can I at least pretend in my head that Kellan and Nate have a happily-ever-after?

I'm not entirely sure why, but I enjoyed this more than side effects. I liked side effects when I read it, but this left me with a nice warm glow that Kellan's story just didn't. Both were well written and interesting, with a nice balance of angst and romance.

I think, it's possibly because I never really liked Kellan very much. His attitude towards the whole thing was always very selfish, and although you'd written it in such a way that I understood why he did and said the things he did, and why he acted a certain way, it still didn't make me like him very much. I felt more sympathy with Nate in the end, so thinking about it, that’s probably why I liked this more :P

Quentin was suitably un-clichéd, which I was impressed with, and slightly worried about when you first mentioned British. I had just couple of qualms with the whole thing: The sudden turn around with Nate’s dad was a little unbelievable, but I didn't mind that too much as it meant Nate got his happy ever after. My other one was the masHUsive chapter, which was seriously irritating as I was reading on my phone and every time I tabbed out it took me ages to find my place again. Still, a minor issue :P

Such a sweet little story! Quentin sounds like the most wonderful person ever. Couldn't help but get a little miffed at Kellan at points, but I'm glad that Nate found happiness in the end. I love the whole "hinting at the past" stuff that you've got going on throughout the story too :)

I enjoyed this greatly! Nate deserved a nice British boy. I thought you were going to have the airport be the last time they saw each other and I was going to be SO UPSET

I really liked Nate in the prequel and I rooted for him and Kellan but I like this ending so much more than what I had in mind. I actually even like Nate more than I like Kellan now. This story is steamier too, which is a plus. I'm glad Nate got his own happy ending and Quentin is such a hottie. Love love love this oneshot.
