Ah I have reread this amazing piece once more after all these years. I find it more amusing now that I am a bit older from when I first read. I am hoping that the sequel will be continued but if not, thank you all the same. It has been incredibly fun and surely, this won't be my last reread of this fine story.

wow the beginning is promising

Your writing is gorgeous as always. Love the world creation- the rules of magic (you can get rid of hair but not grow it), new ways to fight a war etc. Your characters also make a strong impact- the legendary general weak in his own way (with nice back story hints dropped in advance), the unlikely sailor hero who achieved so much and doesn't quite realize it... A very enjoyable read. Thanks so much for sharing this!
