![]() ![]() ![]() Dude why are so scared of the ocean? Totally shitty that they didn't even consider Cales idea. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Lol I'm like what too! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love it! Very interesting the differences between their people's... Finding out The meaning for dzali was funny. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The life he knew is over. I like her a lot! |
![]() ![]() ![]() So good! |
![]() ![]() ![]() This started so cool! Gushing here! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am a veteran hater of romance of every sort - and as such you have forced me to sacrifice my principles over and over again as I read this story. Then read it again a year later. Then read it yet again. I have never in my life been happy when characters hook up - usually quite the opposite in fact - and yet I found myself cheering these guys on like a squealing schoolgirl. Even the sex scenes, which I usually find awkward to read (I always feel like a creepy stalker watching friends during a private moment)...even then, all I could think was "awwww, so sweeeeet!" What have you done to me? O_o |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've never been much interested in yaoi, bu damn, I'm hooked. |
![]() ![]() This story was extraordinary. It is not too often that I find myself unable to stop reading something. You have created an amazing world, amazing characters, and a wonderful narrator with a very unique voice. I hope that you consider publishing one day, whether it be this story or another. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() Book recommendation: anything by Brandon Sanderson, but especially the Mistborn trilogy. |
![]() ![]() ... What got updated? |
![]() ![]() ![]() This book is amazing. Dzali people are really fascinating. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my god! Now I love Alim! He's not so bad after all. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is absolutely perfect. From the title - a reflection on all the titles of ridiculous romance novels in the market - to the lovely writing, I would completely seriously buy this book if you published it on amazon. You have such a deft, hilarious way with words. My favourite line in the whole story has got to be '...there is an art to disagreeing with those above you, and it doesn't start with no.' The seriousness (death, despair, discrimination) lends thoughtfulness to the story but never detracts from the wonder and humour of the story. The origin of the the name 'dzalin'!; their fear of water to their warmongering is an utter delight to read about. And the plot and pacing leading to this culmination of scorching hot sex THAT IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY. Honestly, the teasing scenes of UST here and there in handled masterfully. By the time we reached that chapter I was nearly as eager as Calentine. I repeat, this is brilliant and I would totally buy it. 3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() I was rereading this for fun and was completely fell in love with your writing again- your worldbuilding is so impressive and amazing, I've never seen anyone do a better job of creating such detailed culture without hitting the reader over the head with textplanations! All of your minor characters are super interesting and unique without being distracting too! You are so talented! |
