I am a little worried that Alex may be turning into a little DBag himself? Tell me my fears are misplaced! Why would he want to isolate Randee from others. I was hoping that he and she would help each other to relate more healthfully to others. "There are other ways to isolate her..." Hmmmm...
Well I am dying...okay that may be a bit of an exaggeration, to see what happens next. Oh by the way I NEEDS a prologue with Alex's POV, especially now. And this is a NEED not a WANT ;p

I got my wish! I just didn't expect Alexander to actually do it himself. It seems that Michael is done causing trouble. At least I hope so. Randee and Alex both have their tough sides, and it makes me think even more that they belong together. He likes her much more than she realizes, and she likes him much more than she wants to. And she remains a very cool, unique character. I love how her reason for not going to talk to him is just to see what he'll do. Your notes made me excited for a bonus to this story. I think you made the right choice. This keeps Alex more enigmatic, but I'll also get to satisfy my curiosity about what he's thinking. I'm also happy that there will be more Alex in the next chapter.

Thanks so much for updating! I needed an escape from reality, and this really helped. It's great to get caught up in a good story for awhile.

My guess about what Alex means by he almost went down the same road as Micheal is that he too thought about bribing her with protection in order to 'have' her. Remember in the last chapter, not that I am obsessed or anything, both Micheal and Alex offered to stop and/or shelter her from the abuse of her peers is is she would give it up to Michael or be Alex's

I'm not sure if I love Alexander more because of his new sinister side or if it's the same amount of love for him... I'm all for women's rights and not being cavemen, but at the same time I know if it came to physical stuff I would need some muscle. I just loved the two goons showing up no questions asked haha it reminded me of a HIMYM episode with no questions asked favors. I love this story and all it's mysterious plot twists! Please keep up the wonderful writing!

Oh yikes and yowsers. You are killing me! I never saw this coming. This is intriguing. I find myself a little miffed that he is referring to her as property.
Oh by the way, you most certainly are a tease. But you've mollified me with the promise of an eventual Alex POV even if it is after Love Life wraps up.

This was a treat to wake up too. I was pretty durn siked to see the alert for chapter 16. Now I can only dream of seeing Chap 17 soonish.

This was awesome! Alexander is a pretty interesting character. I would definitely be interested in reading a companion story from Alex's POV. Are you going to finish this story and then go back to updating your other ones? I love this story without a doubt, but I hope The Wolf and the Witch gets updated soon.

I think this is one of the most original romances that I've read in years. And that's saying something cause I chug that stuff like hot chocolate. Even though the plot is super generic (duh, high school drama), the characters are extremely different and have amazingly awesome personalities and reactions. I love your take on the common theme! And I love your characters so much they make me want to hug my cat to death. Thanks for the new chapter! Alex is smexy and Randee is badass :D
