I love how you did the unexpected here. These confrontations usually turn into a lengthy make out session in stories. You built up great tension but only let off a little of it with that kiss. I like how most of it only played out in her mind. You're terrific at making it sexy without any actual sexual action.

I also admire how you showed their different perspectives on the situation. This is the crux of conflict between people. It's hard to see it from the other person's point of view. I liked how they both made valid points. Alex has been an enigmatic character, so it was interesting to get a glimpse into his thoughts on what's been happening.

This story is so engaging, and the characters are so interesting, that you have no slow chapters in this story. It never drags, and I'm always excited about what's going to happen next.
