Yeah, I like this a lot more than all the others. Probably because I HATE angst and that's basically all that is in the high school ones.

Derik seems to have changed, since Quan has been the one to express his feelings more when they were younger. I love their one shots. This one is very sad, I really enjoyed reading it.

I like the development in the mens' relationship. I'm okay with the jump in timeline. It's good to know that whatever they might still go through in high school, learning to accept their feelings for each other, that this is the end result.
I like the last line. It's funny that the wild abandon they had for each other when they were younger seems to have settled down like it does in any relationship. The ending is just a little reminder of that unrestrained passion.

Whaaaa Derik's gone all super softie in this one.
Nicely played. I enjoyed this. I don't believe I've ever heard of the sun muscling it's way into anywhere before. That was creative.
I enjoy how you write Quan's hertitage and parents. It feels very authentic and gives a depth to his character.
The whole interaction between them was great; I like how the argument evolves, and especially the turnabout at the end.

Omg, this is really hilarious, and considering that I am Chinese myself, you really established that conflict between traditional and the liberal in terms of marriage. Derik's reactions to Quan's receiving of the mail are really really cute (even though it felt wrong at times since I am heteoresexual): the "chink chong chick" and "tell them you are only into blondes", and the eventually hem-hawing and hesitation before the marriage proposal. The buildup is classic and done really well. This is the gratuitous kind of fluff that I love and I will feel awkward loving. XD

The description of their first story didn't appeal to me at all. This entire time, I'd been avoiding it like an embarrassing blemish. Then I got tired of trying and failing to write, so I pulled up your page and started reading the first one. Now I'm here and I'm as in love with these characters as I am with your others. How do you manage to do this every time? Football players, nonetheless. You're amazing and it's almost painful how good your characters and stories are. You need to always, always, always write wonderful things and always, always, always put them somewhere I can get a hold of them and appreciate them. Thanks for working so hard on them and I look forward to reading more of all your stories.
