Estrellagrace chapter 23 . 1/22/2018 This was actually the funniest story I have ever read. I was laughing so hard and I loved every second of it. I could have never done something so hilarious, I even thought wasn't really possible to make something funny without the facial expressions behind it, but here this is. Making my stomach hurt after a good violent chuckle. Thanks |
Unknown chapter 4 . 11/19/2017 How could you a black human being a gorilla? You disgusting racist prick. If you wanna be racist wrote on a website for whites only. |
demoness of music chapter 23 . 7/9/2015 this entire story was amazing you almost made me cry I thought Matt was going to die |
demoness of music chapter 1 . 7/8/2015 HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO CAPTURE MY ATTENTION WITH THIS?! oh wait the yaoi mention did. WHY IS THIS SO GOOD SO SOON?! probably a good thing for you though. If a hook isn't interesting enough or the first few chapters are just boring filler (aka as uninteresting) I just kinda abandon it. |
Soraru chapter 23 . 5/14/2015 Wonderful story! I finished reading it and I am really glad to have found this. |
ajachowder1 chapter 23 . 9/14/2014 This was an awesome story, I've always liked the concept of the pov of a zombie in the apocalypse. Makes sense why I liked Warm Bodies so much. (My account is real I'm just not logged in if you send me a message I'll still get it) |
sentimental. semi-mental chapter 1 . 8/6/2014 First though: There's zombie porn. What. The. Fuck. Second though: Okay, I gotta read this. OUT OF CURIOSITY (Totally.) Third thought: Okay, this isn't so bad, Matt is pretty funny. Fourth thought: Alright, I can't lie, this is enjoyable. Basically, despite being slightly disturbed and majorly disgusted, I read the whole thing, and I gotta say, it was actually really frikkin good and highly entertaining and would be mad at myself if I missed it because of weird zombie porn. I think you've started a movement. Congrats. Not the first zombie romance, but definitely the most enjoyable. |
toshica chapter 22 . 6/6/2014 What an interesting idea. I loved it and couldn't honestly stop reading. I was wondering if Mitch would become more human so he process things better and learn how to talk again or be able to control his arms better. But this didn't happen and I loved that. It made it all the more special when he remembered Matt quicker or recalled that he was waiting for someone. I must admit that I'm not actually clear on the plot. I only really understood their relationship. p.s. New York appears to be more capable than Mitch. |
Gummy Kitten chapter 23 . 5/4/2014 I LOVE THIS. This is... ... ...I gotta say when I read the summary I wasn't expecting much. I was kind of feeling like a new take on "Warm Bodies" (probably the worst movie I've ever seen half of (and walked out of the theater)- though I never read the book) was about to slap me in the face but this was nothing like it. This was fucking beautiful. Matt has so much character. I haven't read the sister story yet, and I'm actually about to in say, five minutes, but from Mitch's point of view even he's so strange and insane and SILLY yet somehow you find it hard to judge him, even as Mitch's mindset is 100% zombie and how all he really thinks about is face-eating. It's almost like, maybe Matt doesn't get that, and then sometimes it feels like he totally does, but just doesn't care, and over time he's just this cute little bogus fucker who you just want to see happy in the end. But no secret- the best part is Mitch. He's not some pervy zombie that suddenly takes an interest in sex because OHMIGODHUMANSOBEAUTIFUL (which to be honest, is what I feel most people would have done, and what I expected) up to the very end he can't, even if he may want to just the tiniest bit, deny or fight against his natural... well, I don't feel like instinct, need, maybe? To EAT PEOPLE. I love that about him, I love that about this story. I love how throughout his development he remains this bitey, dangerous creature to those around him despite the fact that in his dialogues we see him as this quirky, sarcastic, care-free and lovable character. Lovable from a safe distance, that is. To me, this subject matter and idea are touchy, and have to be done JUST right or they'll fall flat or feel strange or interest will just be lost. And you did it absolutely perfectly in a way that I'd never imagined it being done. Mitch is a fucking zombie, all the way, and Matt is perfect for his role. Crazy, yet lovable. I'm so excited to read the set of chapters from his point of view. Thanks for making my night a lot more exciting with this story! |
julie.thuillier.web chapter 23 . 3/7/2014 I ... i'm a necrophilliac owo ? Because that was some god shit ! |
Pantu chapter 22 . 2/22/2014 This was so clever and fun. The narrative was really well done and Mitch's silent commentary really made this story for me. I curious about what was going on with blue eyes but it was cool that you managed to get so much across without the need to break Mitch's character. Thank you for sharing, this was fun, a little bit bizarre at times, but overall a really enjoyable read. - Pantu |
rAiNwAtEr1 chapter 23 . 1/16/2014 A truly unique and memorable story. I loved it from beginning 'till the end. Mitch will always hold a special place in the hearts of your readers! I look forward to reading more stories from you. |
twiglet chapter 1 . 11/17/2013 I absolutely love this story - it is one of the most entertaining things I've read in years. Its funny, clever and very well written. And there are zombies.. perfect! Deserves to be published. |
MintyChapstick chapter 23 . 10/16/2013 Such a cool story, and so creative. I love Mitch, he really has an aweaome personality and its entertaining to see things happen through Zombie eyes and ears! |
StorytellerZero chapter 1 . 8/18/2013 I fucking loved this story:D I read an ungodly amount and for the last couple of years a good chunk of it has been slash fanfiction/original fiction I can ferret out on the internet. Probably only five percent of it is well written and enjoyable and this story makes the cut. Zombies are such a media tired subject and yet you've thrown some new life into it with details like the zombies being attracted to heat, how they semi-digest and then regurgitate consumed matter, how they don't sleep but black out randomly. Having the story written from zombie POV can be a bit confusing for the reader since the character basically suffers from extreme short term memory loss so picking up important plot points when they are only peripheral can be a bit tough, but the attitude and personality delivered through the main character is aces! I laughed almost all the way through this one:) I made a profile for Fiction Press just so I could leave a glowing review for this story. I am waiting for your next story to come out. Thanks so much for sharing this one:D |
