|Reviews for The Bird|
| Natari Mirumura chapter 1 . 11/14/2012
Very beautiful! Profound as well. This poem has depth and gave such a beautiful definition, and has a wonderful flow! Outstanding job with his piece! Keep it up :D

| The Siege chapter 1 . 5/31/2012
My fave part:
"Only the ones who can face their own
Reflection in the glass pane.
Not the ones who strike at it headfirst
And try to shatter it
Hoping to escape themselves,
And the illusion made by their own mind.
Spoiled is the chubby bird, and well fed
Yet too stupid, too inexperienced to fight
To appreciate the open door a few feet down."
Also, I think you may have used "as" incorrectly...at least, it didn't sound right when I read it aloud. Who knows though, lol.
And, hehehe, I know who you're talking about...but remember! Even if you can't find the empathy, sympathy, or compassion, HAVE PITY. Life is life, and survival of the fittest be damned, we will regret it if we do nothing to save a precious life. Right? :)
Anyways, did this really happen? Did the bird actually die or did it just bump into the window, and you added in the snapped-neck part?
