![]() ![]() ![]() a really good story, I hope we haven't seen the last of Kurdog :D |
![]() ![]() ![]() Woah... Can this possibly be right? A Realistic depiction of medieval clothing in a fantasy story! I thought I was the only person writing a fantasy world wherein people are wearing accurate depictions of medieval clothing. In my opinion, it is likely that the clothing is based on 15th century clothing. My guess is from the mentioning of a laced overdress, and for the fact that the braies are seemingly tight-fitting, 'hiding nothing'. These braies largely being designed for usage with joined hose attached to a doublet. If it were my pair of braies, all you'd see is a baggy ass, revealing nothing! (1200's M.C Hammer style.) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was wondering if you ever plan to continue it. If not, I was wondering if you knew of any other stories similar to this that are from the point of view of an Orc or half Orc. Thank you for your time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ouch! Harsh! A bit too harsh for me, I think. I like your style, though. The descriptions are vivid without being too blinding in detail, and your characters feel alive. Looking forward to checking out your other story! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Here I was all hopeful and now Kurdog has left Nerinda. I have really enjoyed this story and now see that it was updated 3 years ago. A good tale. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nooooooo! God damn it dont do the thing! You beloved turd! I swear, nothing but cliff hangers. How am i supposed to deal with not knowing? This is one of those so good it hurts moments. Cant wait for the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Really got a story coming along here. What happened to Kurdog is traumatic. Nerinda is a fleshed out character I think from just few chapters she is in. |
![]() ![]() ![]() "a cock with an unfortunate appendage" is a strong thing to say and debases better than anything else. I like your writing style. The crudeness gives this story a roughness not found in too many stories on this site or I have not read enough on here. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am reminded more and more of the monster from Frankenstein as the monster learned humanity. |
![]() ![]() ![]() The start totally reminds me of Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. Just the way the priest was all "for the goddess!" reminds me of Victor Frankenstein's own justification for exploring dangerous sciences such as creating life (in Mr. F's case was for knowledge). Then the growing up of Kurdog I can parallel to the Monster's learning of the world of man. Finally the Orc's banishment is similar to the Monster fleeing from Victor after failing to attain a mate. The inherent racism was interesting to observe of the characters even the characters preaching compassion specifically at the beginning. |
![]() ![]() I was in the middle of reading Assemble at the Gates when you took it down, so I guess I'll be at the edge of my seat waiting for you to get it published. Ah, the woes of being a reader on fictionpress. I enjoy almost all of your work, having stalked you from the distant realm of fanfiction. It was an obsession of mine to check everyday to see if you had updated the 'Proportions' stories when I first started reading your works. And I've been waiting with baited breath for you to update the story where the orc falls into a LARP convention. In short, I enjoy all of your orc/Uruk stories, so please don't stop writing. xxxxx P.S. I have no fp username so if that's a name from a real user in here, sorry. X3 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love this story! |
![]() ![]() I need more! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I swear I am not following you Zoop :) awesome chapter btw |
![]() ![]() Okay that was something. I don't trust the bum either. He left her flat and ran. Please he's no doubt telling everybody. I hope Kurdog finds his way back to her. I think he can be who he really wants to be if given the chance. everybody deserves a chance be it a second, third or fourth. I believe like the song says. We fall down but we get up. Sometimes we fall a lot before we can get up. |
