![]() ![]() ![]() This sounds interesting. :) I want to read it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Have you ever read Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder or the Mediator Series by Meg Cabot? Both I really like/liked when I was in high school :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() :D THIS SERIES IS FREAKING AMAZING! I read it so long ago, but I keep re-reading it because I just fell so completely in love with Ash. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Haha I'm a bookworm too ;) I recommend Divergent by Veronica Roth. |
![]() ![]() ![]() THANK YOU for sharing. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I have recommendations for you. Book Name: Dark Song Author: Gale Giles Summary: Ames is not the person she was a few months ago. Her father lost his job, and her family is crumbling apart. Now, all she has is Marc. Marc, who loves her more than anything. Marc, who owns a gun collection. And he'll stop at nothing-even using his guns-to get what he wants. Ames feels her parents have betrayed her with their lies and self-absorption, but is she prepared to make the ultimate betrayal against them? I think it's an interesting book, it's angst but I think you might like it (it's also very mature). Book Name: Disenchanted Princess Author: Julie Linker Summary: I may be in the middle of nowhere, but I still have standards! Like it's not bad enough Daddy's in jail for embezzlement (he's a super-successful Hollywood agent, btw, and totally innocent), but since my fashion-model mom died when I was a baby (I'm sure you've seen the E! True Hollywood Story) I've been shipped off to Possum Grape, Arkansas, to live with relatives I've never even met. You read that right: Possum. Grape. Not only is there no Starbucks in this town, but I'm sharing a room with a six-year-old and I'm about to miss the biggest social event of the year back in L.A. I'm not sure how yet, but I will get back to civilization. Until then, I may be stuck on a farm, but no one's gonna keep me from ruling the roost! This is a real romance, but a mature romance that involves sex and pot. I think you'd might like them. I've been wanting to get someone to read them ever since I did. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. The stories sound good. I find usually summaries for books are vague and confusing and only the concept makes me want to read them. Tarah xXx |
![]() ![]() I highly recommend Lord of the Flies by William Golding. It's a great book on many levels. Appearing as an adventure story about 6-12 year old boys stranded on an island at first, it's a wild exploration of the nature of man. It starts off a bit slow, but by the middle you're rooting for the boys. (The characters are to die for!) The book gets better every time you read it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hmm...might check this out. |
