I hope you understand that the unforgivable end of this series will weigh on me until my last breath... okay maybe not. But I DO love this story and likely have read it once a year since 2012. With complete confidence, I can say that this is my absolute favorite story on the internet. Periodt. I'm not usually into war stories, but you just make it so interesting that I couldn't tear my eyes away! If my optomologist says my eyes are too dry, I'm blaming you btw. Love you!

Oh things happen much more quicker in this version. Too quickly. It's rushed. Yes, the edited version has better pace. Damn, I'm realizing how much you edited and how much better it turned out! Kudos!

I mean, it could totally play out with emelia and Helene, but it feels fuller with how events happened with kore.

This is different! The updated version runs a lot smoother than this one.

I'd love to read the next chapter of this version, but seeing as the revised version has not been updated in over a year, this has even less chance of being updated.

It puzzles me that you revised this because I loved it in everyway. Heck, the mushy moments warmed my heart and I'm not one for mushy moments but this was so bittersweet and a journey full of feelings. Every description, every character, every event had my heart strumming in anticipation. I kind of lamented that this was an MM because it really should reach a wider audience and be published. This could be a best seller in the way it is written. I am actually re-reading this and it was just as good if not better than when I first read it. You must publish if you ever get the chance.

I'm completely in love with this story! It's one of the best I've ever read! Cale and the General are such great and loveable people, and I have to admit that I've got a soft spot for Ja Alim now, despite how he was in the beginning of the story. XD

You've done such an amazing job writing this, and I can't wait for more!

I do so love their angry-make up session. I've expect a bit wallowing on Calestine's part but that's not him if he can fix it otherwise, so.. Even though I don't really like it, that's Calestine like it or not.. So all's good.

While it is entertaining to read the spin offs, I thought it as better to put them separately so as not to disrupt the flow of the story...
As in under different title, where all the mini shots were written before, around or after the general's sailor or corsair crown.

wait- it was never explained why alim heard strange sounds coming from Paraz and Majererns' tent.. that's really worrying.
