Alternate ending that shouldn't exist because Jason is a prick and the he will probably become a wife beater and kill Elizabeth or I suppose at least if he doesn't, she could be escaping him and run back to Sam a few years from now... It's a good story, and I suppose if the characters were more intelligent then there wouldn't be issues between them. Elizabeth would have realized that keeping her boyfriend meant Sam wouldn't take that extra step, and Sam would have encouraged Elizabeth to leave Jason behind.
As for Jason, let him find happiness elsewhere, with someone else. Elizabeth can't even enjoy herself without thinking of Sam. That should have been a clue.
I hope I don't sound harsh, but I kept waiting for the characters to figure it out. Keep the first ending.

I read this story in one sitting and you did a great job. Although to me, the alternate ending does not exist.

I think you should continue it in another story wich sam and elizabeth are together and other stuff...you are cool writer...keep writing and great story.
