I really enjoyed reading your story. Your story was awsome in charcters developements and the reason why I like the story a lot was that you didn't make Cecil a wimp or a damsal in distress. You kept him as a male character even while he was the victim. That was the best, not something I can say for most stories that feature abuse and rescue.

I read through all of your story in one evening - it was great! Totally devoured it; thanks so much for writing it.

I'm responding to the author's note in chapter 2. Your writing shouldn't hinge on whether or not you get reviews - it should be about the pleasure of getting the story out. If it's good, people will review at the end or if they have specific constructive criticism to share. Any other type of review will be pointless fillers. You don't want those types; while they're great for your ego since most are mindless fan-girl/boy squees, they're no real indication of the quality of your story or writing. If you're doing this for praise, then keep demanding reviews for new chapters, but if you want to be taken seriously and grow as a writer, then just write and leave the feedback for when it comes. I'm bothering to say this because this story has potential and you're a promising writer, otherwise I would have just rolled my eyes at the author's note and dropped the story just because of the attitude. So many FictionPress writers have devolved into this needy breed of blackmailers: review or I won't give you a new chapter. It's pathetic. You're not pathetic. You're better than this.
