|Reviews for Shell Games|
| Naver chapter 1 . 11/15/2012
Wars that rage on, without the mind to hold on to life. My favorite lines :
"People played like pawns, all wired into the game,
making someone else's moves, they fight."
Great war poem. :)
| TheGlycoprotein chapter 1 . 9/2/2012
Breath-taking. Again, this is full of the fabulous imagery that has become a trademark of your writing. My favourite line has to be "Terror's name tattooed on their lips, children taking sides because their daddies said." This is simply brilliant.
| Meadow Frost chapter 1 . 8/31/2012
I like the part, "Terrors name tattooed on their lips," that was so amazing.
| Mylilblackpen chapter 1 . 8/31/2012
I love the imagery and think it's a great piece. I just didn't understand 'shell game' but maybe I'm missing something. :) But apart from I liked it :)
| Valenteen chapter 1 . 8/31/2012
Many thanks for posting up more of your work for me to read. I love it- particularly 'Terror's name tattooed on their lips'. As ever, I love it.

Another cryptic yet enlightening piece. I love your use of 'Terror's name tattooed on their lips' and also 'People played like pawns, all wired into the game'. I'm thinking possibly a family being torn apart through divorce or something similar?
Good to read your poetry again! :)
