Reuben sounds like a really fun character and I can't wait to learn more about him and his interesting personality.

I didn't know that about the different Englishes. That's...weird. And annoying. But if it's your English, I'm gonna have to deal with it.

Not a whole lot happened in this chapter, which was sad. I know you need slower chapters, but it makes me anxious for more action.

This should be interesting Reuben does seem like quite the quirky character Tomas's coffee drinking reminds me of well, me... I can't stand it if it's not horribly sweet

I'm not really focused on crtitiquing at the moment because i'm kind of busy, so the few things I can offer you are, Why are you using single quotes when you should be using double quotes? and um...that might be it. It makes it harder for me to differentiate and recognize it as dialogue.
