I can actually relate to this, having recently lost a friend, and I think you did a magnificent job with the metaphor. You kept it consistent and interesting through the whole piece, and I thought all the details used made it all the more intriguing. I also loved the basket of fucks, at first I wasn't sure exactly what purpose they served, but when I got to the boy I started to realize. It made me really sad at the end.
This was a really great metaphor. I was genuinely impressed.
