Goodness I'm in love with this story. I find most stories don't develop characters in such a way that I actually care about them, but yours does and I feel so so bad for Trey and I just want him to have a happy ending. Don't apologize for this chapter! Even if you're not too comfortable writing this type of content, you did it really well. I don't know what you have planned for the rest of the story, but I'm really looking forward to finding out! Hope to read more soon :)

I liked this a lot. Yeah, it was pretty much completely sex, but it felt integral to the story. I'm so bored with sex thrown in for kicks when it's extraneous to what really matters. This is genuinely plot-related.

I mean, we see Trey's change, the way he is changing as he relates to someone differently. I think one of the major themes of this story is Trey going from a kind of castrated male to a more embodied one, and on at least one level that depends on him taking control, being dominant, and stuff like that.

And we learn so much about Kevin too. I mean, some of it is like insecurity stuff, which isn't riveting but helps explain his actions a bit. But more so, the sexual dynamics within his family, and how that plays into his relationship with Trey.

Yeah, and all of that would have been hard to communicate without the sex scene, because it was shown in the sex. It would have been harder to tell us that afterwards... it would have felt less real. We undergo the processes that they undergo. So now it completely sets us up for whatever direction the story will take next.

I'm really enjoying this story still, and I hope the next chapter doesn't take too long.

In general I’m just impressed with your prolificness : ).
So, I admit I wasn’t expecting the scene to take up the whole chapter, but the whole play-by-play was very good – how Trey tried his best to refuse, and the whole development of Trey and Kevin as characters and their relationship with each other. It also endeared me more to Kevin - he really is a sweet kid. Anyway, I thought you did a great job of it. (It was a very interesting development to the story, and to be honest, I was eagerly awaiting this moment, especially after the last chapter :D.)
Now I’m wondering what you meant by saying you’re way off track with this story. I wouldn’t have guessed from reading so far, as this chapter seems to be on point with the theme that you outlined in your summary, the whole ‘man’ thing : ). So, the story seems cohesive to me – at any rate, I trust your authorly genius. Thanks a lot for your update!

I really liked this chapter, haha soft porn ftw XP I think it was more than that though, I liked seeing how Trey and Kevin dealt with one another on this new level, and I like that you made it kind of awkward for them at times, it made it more sensuous and real.
Your stories are never just about sex, they're about people with faults and imperfections like we all have, and that's why I love your characters so much.

I liked this chapter, although I'll admit that I hadn't been expecting this to happen yet. Still, I think it fits and I'm interested to see where the story will go after this. Specifically, how Kevin and Trey's relationship will develop. I've been wondering if you're going to bring Kyle into the story because it sounds like something could develop between him and Trey.

I think you're doing very well with your character development and I like how thoroughly you explore Trey's thoughts, worries, fears and ambitions. I'm always impressed by your grammar - it's not often that I can't find a single mistake in a story.

Goodness gracious, I have to say, when I got the alert about this chapter I wasn't expecting THAT! Haha. I mean it wasn't bad. One could say I liked it even. But it was awkward because I'm sitting at work reading it lol. Regardless.

I don't know which way you thought the story was gonna go originally, but I love the direction it's taking now. I sort of assumed it would head this way. I'm happy to see it update. :)

I don't think you need to apologize for what you write. I love the story and your writing style.

Well, nothing wrong with a bit of softcore porn when it actually has a purpose in the story, which it has in this case. And it wasn't written in a clichéd kind of way which is nice. I think it was quite beautiful and realistic. And the chapter isn't just porn - come on, be fair to yourself - it's about Trey's development, how he is feeling empowered, masculine, human even, and learning to love himself. The setting is a sexual encounter yes, but the really important aspect is what this encounter does to Trey psychologically... and you describe that very well. So this chapter is far from just a matter of blood-filled genitals and the exchange of bodily fluids, hence, it's not mere porn ;)

I like the marriage issues with Julie, they're a very interesting aspect of the story. I like that Trey has been developing and is slowly becoming a stronger, more confident man. Kevin is also interesting and he seems kinda cute :) I'm interested to see how these characters will develop over the course of this story.

I like it. Good chapter. I noticed parts where I skipped over... but overall it was interesting. The back and forth between Trey and Julie was really well done.

I am actually reviewing a day after I read the chapter because I'm a bad and lazy person. But oh my, oh my. Julie is unbelievable. And by that I mean, she's a believable character but I want to hit her in the mouth.

Drinking and inviting over Kevin is probably not the best idea he's ever had, either. Either if those separately would be fine but combining the two is probably not the smartest. He realizes that too, that's the best part.

Don't worry about not updating for a little while. It could be worse. I'm working on trying to finish that one thing. My last final is on Wednesday so I should have some time after then to figure out how it's going to end. (I'm really bad at endings.)

I'm so proud of Trey for standing up for himself with Julie! I really think she was shocked that she did. I could be wrong, but Trey hasn't really stood up for himself ever or has it just been a ridiculously long time?
