Thank you for posting this story. I really liked it. Perhaps if you feel up to it a small sequel or just a single chapter with a glimpse of the future would be perfect.

It was a very good ending, I'm so glad that Daniel and Jacob ended up together, and that they are going to be a family. :) To be honest, I would have liked to see Carmen interact with Jacob one last time. We didn't get to see her at all this chapter... and I don't know, I guess it felt... a little off? But don't worry, it was still a great chapter and a fantastic end to a brilliant story! I apologize that my comment isn't as long as usual, but University started up again earlier this week and the workload is killing me. -_- University will own my soul until April, but then I'll be FREE! :)

Thank you for sharing this very compelling story. I liked that it was a modern story, no fairytales. It has real adult situations, without being tawdry. The story wasn't judgemental, even if some of the characters were. The story didn't preach, or deliver an empassioned moral message. It was a beautiful romance the lived with the character flaws and messy details. I didn't have to suspend my sense of reality to get to the stories conclusion. Well done. Please continue to write.

I really enjoyed your story. Thank you. I liked the storyline in general but I also liked the setting. It makes a change to have a story set away from a ubiquitous american City. Not that there is anything wrong with those stories but as I said it added to the interest for me. Looking forward to reading your other stuff.

i loved it...this is one of the best stories that i've read on fictionpress so far. You are very talented, kept me waiting for the next chapter, and everytime it did i rushed off to read it...I am sorry i didn't comment on all the chapters but most of the time i didn't have a stable internet connection as i was reading it through my phone ;) It was an amazing journey...i will be looking forward to more of your stories...:):)

That was just such a brilliant story and I applaud your writing. You are fantastically talented. I think what pulled me into it and made me stay was how real it is. There are so many stories on FP that are plot twist after plot twist that aren't believable with characters that act in ways that people in real life would never act like. But yours is different. You applied situations that could happen to anybody and made them feel real. It was outstanding and it was a pleasure reading it. Thank you for writing.

I really like it, it was good. I liked it because it gave an outlook on in an adult, instead of the normal high school teenage drama that usually written. Don't get me wrong i like those too, it just your was different and sometimes different is all you need to make an excellent product.

Though i'm curious on what changed her mind to not fight him for the kids, she seem so dead set on screwing with him anyway she could. She even went as far as taking the kids without him knowing it. One might think she would give up her life just to take the kids away, and make his life a living hell. Not that most would side with her, but you never know. Either way it made a good story, and the ending was one I was hoping for. I'm glad their together and I'm glad it all worked out in the end.

I also like it because of the Characters even though I disliked Jenny tremendously. They were believable and really came to life. I really liked how I was able relate to them and was able to see exactly where each of them were coming from, even though some peoples methods on handling the situation were wrong. (Mostly Jenny in that regard, but I do have to say I did see where she was coming from even though I didn't agree with her in that regard or how she handled it. It's one thing to not like it, and it's another to go out an intentionally hurt someone because you don't like it.)

You did a excellent job, in my opinion, and you should continue to share your gift with the world. Good authors and stories are hard to come by these days especially in this genre, and this is easily on of my favorites and I would defiantly recommend it to any others who also like this type of story and genre. I just want to say thank you for sharing it, and i really enjoyed reading. It's nice to see somethings work out for the better, even if they seem out of control.

I don't know what to think. This is so sad but at the same time I can totally understand daniel's point of view. I hope this story doesn't end up with me in tears. All the same thanks for another great chapter!

I love it as usual, your characters and your story line seems to really capture some of the realities of an actual gay couple. Both Daniel and Jacob come off as authentic gay guys with real problems and situations that you might find in everyday life. You don't find many gay centric stories that broach subjects like the importance of keeping themselves and their partner safe by checking for STIs. I really like the flow of this story and I look forward to reading more.

Oh, I like it when Jacob takes charge like that. He was amazing, keeping Daniel together when all he wanted to do was fall apart... Did I ever tell you how much I love him? I do, I love him a lot. :)

I loved the scene after Jacob and Daniel returned from the summer house and spent the night together... without having sex. It was a nice change of pace from the usual nightly scenes between them. It shows that their feelings towards each other are more than just physical. Their relationship isn't just about sex. It was sweet and heartwarming.

I can't believe there's only one chapter left... or that I'm actually all caught up and have to WAIT like everybody else. Damn it! Oh well, your writing is SO worth the wait. You're very talented, and I just... can't even get over it. I'm jealous!

As for the ending of this chapter... I don't know exactly how... I feel about it. I'm disappointed that they ended things, but at the same time I respect them so much for putting into consideration the needs of the kids... I'm sad for Jacob, especially since he told Daniel he freaking loved him... LOVE! I was all giddy with excitement when it happened.

This was a great chapter. Maybe my favorite. I'm not entirely sure - it's hard to pick, they're all so amazing and emotional and great and... fantastic in their own ways.

The talk Marcel and Daniel shared warmed my heart and made me shed a tear. The part where Daniel asked him what gender he thought about when jacking off, and Marcel's giggly reply, made me laugh out loud. It was well written, and there were just so many emotions! I'm REALLY glad they finally had the talk, and that Marcel has indeed forgiven him.

Things are DEFINITELY looking up, and not a moment too soon. Now let's just hope Jenny doesn't whisk the kids away from their dad... Honestly, I hope Marcel and Carmen can have both their parents in their lives, equally. They don't have to be together for that, either. A lot of kids have divorced parents, and quite a few actually have good relationships with both.

Wait, wait, wait, I spoke too soon. She did whisk them away... Oh my god, I can't believe she did that... Oh wait, yes I can believe it. Damn you, woman! I'm glad Jacob is back, though, and I hope he can convince Daniel that nothing happened between him and John.
