I was reduced to sniffling pathetically into my sleeve by the end of this chapter. Great story so far, I love it.

i just found this story and wanted to say thank you. i don't think i have ever identified with a character as much as i have with alexa. i too am from a dysfunctional family whose insanity and mishaps rival the malones and have long played the role of trying to fix everyone else's problems as a way of not dealing with my own. i also avoid relationships for fear of being hurt especially because i have no immediate examples of a healthy romantic relationship. to hear what sometimes feels like a solitary journey echoed somewhere even in fiction means a lot and gives me hope that even though none of the relationships around me have worked that maybe its possible for me to have one.

Awwwwwww... I loved this story so much. :,( I hope you write more about the Malones someday.

I think it never hurts to try and there is a first time for everything so I say go for it! Try to write a story through a boy's perspective.

I've just finished reading this at 04:22 in the morning and I have to be up at seven to make a doctor's appointment. I'm literally going to get less than three hours sleep because of this story so thank you very much! In all seriousness, though, so far it's been extremely well written and I obviously haven't been able to stop reading it until there was nothing left to read. I very much hope you update soon but hopefully at a time when I've either had more sleep or have the opportunity to gain more sleep afterwards!

I have a few questions surrounding Dominic's family however as you gave two different background stories that I'm not sure link or cancel out each other. So as far as I understand Dom's mother had a daughter with another man, who grew up with her father's family? Then Dom's dad died and his mother couldn't stand looking at him and became a drug addict somewhere along the way before sending him to live with his paternal grandparents? Then she met a guy on the Internet and had some kids with him? From what I've read this is the general story I have for him but I'm not sure if it's what you've intended - if not then please clear it up for me, please, please, please.

I think I'll get some sleep now as my eyes hurt like hell. Good story. PLEASE UPDATE SOON.

I can't even begin to explain the disappointment I felt when I realized that I'd reached the last available chapter. I was so engaged in the story that I didn't even realize I'd read all 23 chapters in an hour!
Really well written- I love the dynamics if the characters and how each is so different yet similar. You make them seem realistic and I love that!
