I found "Sparky" to be hilarious, mostly because I have a character named that too! (Though my Sparky is a mental voice driving my main character nuts.) I'm looking foward to the next chapter, as always.

Heh, the Obelisk will forever be renamed Sparky in my head. XD The computer is awesome.
Aaand Kevin is evil now. Dangit. Y'know, the thing with him now really reminds me of the episode of Voyager where the Doctor's ethical subroutines got deleted... Yikes. Nothing scarier than an evil doctor. Cause they KNOW how to cut you up... You won't die... Yech.

I wondered what happened to you; did you get wrtiers block or something? I dunno, whatever the reason, it must have been a good one. This is a good chapter, especailly the interogation sequence. Kevin's subconsciousness 'talking' to him; kinda reminded me of one of my characters on FFN, only my guy is a bit more annoying to his 'host'. ;)

Anyway, I hope you had a good time in resting up, cause its great to see you back here. can't wait for the next update.

Oh my gosh, everything is getting so exciting! So now all of Logan's crew is captured by the Syndicate. I cracked up when Gregor threw that cup at Vysac. I agree with Logan. If he could sleep through that, he deserves to sleep in.

I really liked the scene with Fiona and Gydra. I especially like how Gydra described that she could only touch those who had "awake" souls. It was a good, truthful concept that I had never heard explained like that.

Wow, okay, a lot of interesting things going on here, I like it. I love how Logan's kinda lighthearted about things. Also I get the feeling you watch Star Trek. If so, that's cool. I'm a Trekkie myself, haha.

This is good! You've piqued my interest. The only critique I can offer is a couple of typos I noticed, but that's no big deal. Your grammar appears virtually spotless, and your description is excellent. I think it's funny how laxed the bridge crew is, I like that. I know it's only the first chapter, but Vanessa really jumped out to me. I think she's my favorite character so far. I'm off to read more!
