I know John loves her and we wish that love prevails all. But the thing is the others are right. I mean, I'm not saying they're right about her being inferior, but they're right about the fact that it's going to turn out very difficult for all parties and for Colleen the most. And even then, if John moves with her to America, he's going to have a wake up call about life and character building.

I'm so curious for the next chapters. Can't wait to see his parents' reaction.

AHHHH, I think this one of my most favorite chapters in this story. I am so happy that Sophie had the guts to reject Malcolm, and I am sooo happy Colleen said yes to John's request. Im in love with John, even thought his Edward's son, his atittude is more like William's: more gentleman stuff.

Going back to the murder... I guess it had to be Charles, Henry was too obvious-ugh I hate him. I've hated him since his appearance in Ignoble Consequences.

I'm so happy that Sophia could withstand Malcolm's temptations. I do like the guy, but I think Sophia is worth waiting for.

Also, I'm so happy! Finally John was able to convince Colleen to at least consider him. Looking forward to the six weeks. :)
John having thoughts about going to America leaving his mother behind is a bit heartbreaking. But I still love the fact that he's willing to do that for Colleen. It might help him regain his personality being half American, half English, whereas now he's more English than anything. I also like him taking Charles to spend time with Elizabeth. Such a good elder brother!
