|Reviews for Dear Diary|
| JAdamAustin chapter 9 . 8/10
That blue-ringed octopus
from which we can't escape.
Wrestling, krakenlike, against
the force majeure of fate.
Our white whale, will appear
without fail, when you're
in a position, to hunt it.
A quest is best,
when shared with your Enkidu.
But bloodsucking beasts nest
both near and off past the horizon.
I think it best avoid the brambles.
Blood of my birth,
will once rest in the Earth,
as rivers will flow to the sea.
The grave, I am destined.
The family shrine?
Might I nest in?
Dwelling fondly in your memory.
The people I've found
in ways quite profound
have expanded my heart exponentially.
I hope for you
a real family
A home to hang your heart in.
With family in heart,
all gates will part,
and a hovel becomes a mansion.
It is there you will dwell
when you travel beyond the pale
and into the Earth's fertile garden
the hearts of your friends
and the stories with them
hold your home for your worldly future.
