Oh wow, it's been forever! I've had the notification from this chapter sitting in my inbox for ages with me clicking on it every now and again, reading the first sentence, and then having to rush off. I know that first sentence very well! Anyway, great chapter. I love Olivia's frustration at having brought someone in, but not under her own steam, and her discomfit at people's praise.

Mostly, though, I liked the description of the cupcake. It may be that I'm a bit peckish this morning, but that strawberry cupcake sounded amazing!

Raleigh's sister was a great addition, the family stuff centres him.

On to the next chapters...

So good. So, SO good. I read this chapter twice because I enjoyed it so much. As always, I'm a huge fan of Olivia and Raleigh's exchanges and their slow realization of their feelings for each other. I also loved the action and how you wrote it - I felt like I was seeing everything as Olivia was. I'm so curious to see where you take this story next. Keep up the absolutely amazing work!

I love that he stuck the necklace into her purse. Such a great way to annoy and anger her. Raleigh seems so set in his devious ways, so I'm so interested and excited to see how you're going to make this pair work out. Looking forward to your next update!

Ahh so it's been a while XD. I don't why I've been so bad with reviewing stories lately but I have and I should fix that.

Anyways, there was a crazy amount of stuff that's happened! I mean there were leads! And jewelry! And backup hooligan/sidekicks!

I sincerely enjoyed every minute of reading this chapter. It was all so action packed and I felt just as frustrated as Olivia did when she couldn't really catch anyone in the act. Even though of course I don't WANT Raleigh to get put behind bars. Then we wouldn't have a story!

My favorite part would definitely have to be when Olivia realizes that Raleigh sneaked that necklace she was staring at. By far the best part because I could just FEEL her anger and complete frustration. And part of it was sexual tension which just made it all the better ;)

Favorite Lines:
I fought the urge to roll my eyes. However, the offense of being ignored by Tyson - quickly shriveled up and died as Raleigh slid an arm around my waist. With a firm tug, he pulled me towards him and answered,

"My date."

Ahahaha I just about squeal everytime they slow the slightest affection towards one another. Even if they're just putting on a show like this XD

"I know you better than you think," I said. I tried sounding haughty but it came off a bit more earnest than intended. Raleigh's lips flexed to another smirk and, not for the first time, I wondered how he could be so easy to talk to but such a... dick.

Raleigh finished his beer and I my plate of berries, and together we walked towards the jewelry cases on the far side of the room. His hand situated in the small of my back, and I elbowed him in the gut. I couldn't tell for sure, but I think he flinched. Which, naturally, brought on a wave of delight.

Hahaha even though I really want them to get together and everything I just love how independent Olivia is. I love the way she just doesn't take any of his crap.

Raleigh had the nerve to chuckle. "Of course not. He's just... temporarily disposed."

Hehehe :P

I jerked away. I didn't want him to touch me. For a few moments I'd actually thought... I'd actually enjoyed... I sighed, met his gaze with a lethal glare and watched him turn and walk away. Down the street and away from the party goers waiting for their cars and the innocent people he'd stolen from.

Aww this made me kinda sad. Poor Olivia. It's okay things will be better.

Olivia Hunt had probably never wanted his head more. He knew she'd hate what he'd done, but it was too tempting with her purse lying there and the necklace he'd seen her eyeing earlier in his grasp. He wished he could see her reaction when she found it; almost as much as wished he could have watched her take Paulie down. The bastard was still cursing 'Raleigh's stupid bitch'.

No matter how much of a thorn in his side she became, Raleigh knew he liked her. She kept things interesting when he was at risk of getting bored.

Yay! I'm happy about this new development :D I love the way you're progressing this story. It's nicely paced.

Anyways, I'm very excited for the next update! The heist plans look exciting and I'm happy to see those progressing and I'm curious to find out what's happening with Olivia and the FBI. Great chapter! Cannot wait for another update :D

Yes..you seem to be making all women out to be dumb asses..thanks a bunch..NOT.

But we still love it! I wonder what Olivia is going to do with her new necklace... I myself would be happy to keep it, but as a police officer, it would be suspicious for her to have it so soon after it was stolen.

Oh, and I couldn't really undertsand this sentence:
"With Tyson was out of earshot, I fanned my lashed."

I am glad that we finally got to hear how and what caused him to get into robbing paintings. That and I love the different tidbits of different robberies that people have gotten away with. That and how he even blatantly put that necklace that she was looking at in her purse. I was thinking about how she would give that back... it would look so suspicious.

I hope that he will give up the robbing life style. And it was funny that Olivia even admitted that they looked cute together.

Brilliant as ever! Sorry I haven't reviewed the last couple of chapters, I've been a bit of a slacker I know ooops. I can't wait to find out what's going on, but I wish there was a bit more sexual tension (mainly because Raleigh sexy) so I could relax knowing something ;);) would happen soon. Thanks for posting this woohoo, it made ignoring my huge pile of assignments so much more fun!

If you mean you're really mean to Olivia, I have to agree. I feel so bad for her. It feels like she tries so hard and has little to show for it :(
But of course it's a policeman's life and it's not going to be glamorous - so that's very realistic.

And I'm glad Raleigh is so nice beneath all the burglary. There's hope for him yet ;) the diamond necklace was a nice touch - i couldn't stop grinning.

I can't wait to see what's going down at the police station the following day!

I like it, I just wish that Raleigh could have just done something spontaneous and just kissed Olivia...it would've made things more interesting...please update
