You are an amazing storyteller. This story is so unique and full of depth—the world building is amazing and all of the characters have such distinct voices and personalities. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I just hope that you're happy and doing well. And I hope that you're out there, somewhere, still writing, because you have a beautiful talent.

Is this story ever going to be finished? I read this a really long time ago and honestly I still think about it to this day, so please consider continuing?

If I'm being honest, though, I much preferred parts 1 & 2 of this story than this installment. Quite a bit happens here, but Caletine was just a passive bystander for a large majority of it until the later chapters. Interactions with Asetogi were sparse, and their relationship went back into uncertain territory. The happier/funnier characters (Jara, Derek, Laris, Emelia) were all absent, replaced by the calmer/moodier Mer, Hel, Alim, and Kore. The conversation with Auntie, which I was looking forward to as it was built up to be cathartic/illuminating, never happened, and the war situation and politics were much more dire/hopeless.

Just thought that you tipped the balance heavily towards the angst and darker feelings in part 3, and Cale's passive position made this feel like 100k words of treading water.

I'm still highly intrigued by the world you've built, though, and I'm always surprised by every twist and turn. The strides you've made with Alim as a character was glorious as well.

Hey there! I am absolutely positive that you have received more than your share of “please continue this story because I love it!” requests, so I won’t give you another one of those (however true it may be ;)). However I do hope that you come back to this story someday - it has a very appealing concept to it and you have put an amazing amount of time and effort into building a beautiful world to work in for this story. There is still a lot to love about this story and I hope that you are finally able to pick it back up again and add your fresh eyes and growth this story. I’ve heard it said that you shouldn’t pick up an old story because it limits you to your old level of writing and skill but I think that’s just plain wrong. It gives you. Chance to see side by side how you’ve grown

I read this story and the prequel in two days and I loved them!
Calendine is a bit dense sometimes but truly genius in others, Perez, well he is just dense and like a princess always in need of being saved.
I love Kore, I think that if I could I would adopt her, teach her the feminist way (one of the 2 good things about Dazlin) and spoil her rotten.
Please please update!

So, I found the prequel to this! It’s amazing! This is amazing as well! I can’t wait to see if there will be more soon, because you are an amazing writer! Simply amazing!

Oh my god i love this work so much- i love the writing style, the characters are endearing, no one is too evil or too good (except for some with little screen time). I hope you'll update soon. Gosh, still not over fangirling over your work.

Also I think Calentine's pretty witty sometimes. And sometimes he's a dork lol

Ok so, I'm starting to wonder if Helene and Cale are secretly the missing royal human heirs? There's definitely something interesting about their past other than being orphans who wash ashore.
I dunno if I ever mentioned, but I really love Cale's lingo.
I just have so much respect for all the creativity you've put into this universe.
I think I'm going to check out the old version to read the rest of the story, I did read your response so I do hope there will be updates, but I'm not really expecting anything. Just know that I think you're brilliant and have 2 awesome stories!

Aww! Jara and maj!

I read the first part of this story and I liked it, hated that it left me hanging. But now as I read the second part, I think it is stagnant, alot of talking, thinking, looking, pausing, unsurety. I am waiting for that moment of adrenalin rush but I am not feeling it, I am getting bored already. Maybe in later chapters.
