Fantastic sonnet, I envy you're ability to write such stunning imagery in sonnets. The imagery and flow help make the emotion in this piece all the more heartbreaking. I do like the twist, because at first you feel sorry for him to find out he's a fraud. I love the last line: "I pray that God has mercy on your soul." that's very condemning and chilling. Brilliant end to a brilliant piece.

You have this gorgeous way of adding meaning to the rhythm of rhyme schemes such as here. A tragic piece, I feel stricken that I can't do anything, or maybe don't want to, like so many of my own experiences.

This was a fantastic sonnet. Great work!

The tone of this piece and possibly the insinuations remind me of someone I once called a friend. Just a well written poem. I love the bondage of the line, "prisoner without parole" trapped forever in your ownself and lies. I really liked this.
