![]() ![]() Thank you for this great journey. You are amazing author. Your writing style is really great. |
![]() ![]() Wow this story was an experience ... Real and it just twists your heart... Loved it so much... Believe me I'll be coming back to this whenever I need good angst... |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love how honest and realistic this story was. I wish there were a physical description of Tess though since there was plenty for James– that is unless this was one of those stories where you're supposed to imagine yourself as the protagonist. ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Regarding my previous review- at the very least, the story was an experience, and it did leave an impact on me. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was so...interesting. It was an experience, to say the least. But I still feel ambivalent. I wanted to dislike Tess so much. I couldn't even begin to dislike James because it was just so him and maybe I'm just making excuses for his behavior based on the fact that he's a drug addict. I realize that the whole reason you made Tess the 'pushover' and the ever changing person she was. It took me too long to see that, even though it was in the title and in the summary and spelled out very clearly constantly. I guess what made me sad is that by the end, I wasn't even surprised James couldn't love her back. And I was satisfied with that because it didn't seem like she deserved his love (in a convoluted way). This story reads like poetry. It was raw in some ways but not in others, and I still don't know if I can pass judgment on it yet. Thank you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Jee that Idiot loves Tess. .if not why he would dream about her I hope one day the nightmare may change into Sweet dream . .and dream into reality hehe Tess you are strong girl :) |
![]() ![]() This wad actually really well written and consistent. Furthermore, it was beyond realistic that with James not falling madly in love with her in the end. It was a good portrayal of a destructive and obsessive relationship without getting ridiculous and fiction-y. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing. Love the fresh idea. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This was seriously just so... wow. Honestly, fantastic. You really feel for the both of them and it makes me see these men and women that fall in love with addicts in a completely different way. It's heartbreaking and I wish all of them could have even a glimmer of hope like this story does. The writing style is genius and I can't say if I like either of the characters, but I understand them and that is incredible. Great, great job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hello there! "Addiction" has been added to the site A Drop of Romeo (of which I am a judge) under the Forbidden category. Congrats! Here's your review: Melissa Thinks: It's common for women to start dating people who they know are bad for them - whether it's because they think that they're fixable or because they just can't resist. The main character in "Addiction" is one of those women. This was quite an interesting story to get through because not only are we seeing James slowly deteriorate from his addiction to drugs, but we also see Tess' struggle to stay sane while dealing with her obsession with James. It's hard not to love this story, what with it's simple premise and smooth prose - I was engrossed within reading the first few chapters. Gabriella4549's writing is almost poetic in it's simplistic construction. She's written a tragically decomposed love story that inflicts with it's raw emotion. You may not leave this story with a fuzzy feeling in your stomach, but I encourage everyone to give it a try - because the styles and themes of this piece are truly memorable. |
