I must admit that I am NOT a fan of M-preg, but I will deal with it in this case because I find this story to be very interesting.

It was very satisfying reading about James tearing Obane a new one because I hate Obane as much as James does. He's an arrogant, selfish, cruel, and heartless bastard and I hope James never submits to him. They say first impressions are lasting impressions, and the rape would most definitely put Obane on James' sh*tlist forever. Not to mention how Obane is basically viewing James only as a baby making machine and not as a true individual with thoughts and wishes. Obane's interest is only on how many offspring James can give him and that just p*sses me off.

The small upside is that Obane is disgusted with homosexuality, so as long as James stays in his human form around Obane, it should be a lot safer. I really hope there will be a new character introduced that will be the person James falls in love with and will respect him.

Oh, and I also hate James' dad. Who the hell does he think he is selling his son off like that? He has never been a part of James' life, so his right to parenting is null and void. He is James' biological father, but he's not his "father" which is a title given only to men who are actually present to care for their child. Thelrian is just a glorified sperm donor in this case.

Roume is back, Bane revealed his other form (I didn't expect scales and horns! they suit his arrogant/powerful character) and James reversed to his old stubborn self.. :D

While reading I was surprised, confused and mildly annoyed when Bane suppressed every attempt of shifting back made by James. I like how every chapter has an original element I've never read in any other story. So, aside from very enjoyable characters, there're plenty of surprises. Can't wait to read more.

*.* wow, a chapter so soon. Almost couldn't believe my eyes! :) I'm overjoyed.
Sooo, who's this mysterious carbon black dragon? smug and powerful... that's a good premise for a good battle of wills, of stubborn wills.
As much as I'd like for them to be the only focus of the next few chapters, I kind of hope James to have accidently stumbled upon Roume's (nice name!) aforementioned friend just to have Roume back into the picture: love his teasing, his confident character and his impatient ways. :)
