Reviews for Sun and Moon
Perisada chapter 1 . 3/25/2013
This is one of the best, most evocative, most sensual love poems I have ever read, and once again, each line is a work of art as clear as a painting.

My favorite lines:

Secret waterfalls of passion

I weep at the beauty

I glance to the stars

I remember what it's like

To be a child of the sun

Our skin like gold

Your eyes like the sun

Mine, the moon

I sit in your forest

The warmth along my skin

These images remind me of a movie you may want to see, called "The New World" by director Terrence Malick. It is an excellently filmed, deeply poetic adaptation of the story of Pocahontas. Many of Her little passages of monologue express the same sentiment as yours. You can get a feel of it by going to youtube and typing in "The New World - Love Scenes." It might give you some inspiration.

You should publish these!
