| Let us remember chapter 1 . 4/11/2013
Your poem is so right, I've talked to my mum, before, about these things and it turns out many of the soldiers have an undiagnosed mental condition, which the government, or parliament chooses to ignore. They then can't get other jobs or hold a life. They either start drugs, achohol, get thrown in prison for something or they are left on the streets.
All because they had to fight for a country that neglects them!

Thank you for writing this. It is something that is very close to my heart. I think that my mom is about to scream at me for going off about this so often, but it really is important to me. It makes me want to cry, that this is happening, and I have cried. My mom thinks that the media is exaggerating it. She just doesn't believe it, and I can see why, but I know this is real. THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS.
And they ARE our heroes.
That was very well said. I don't know when I have liked a poem or that it was so well written.
