|Reviews for Just a Maple Tree|
| Isolde Auckley chapter 1 . 4/16/2013
I think the interesting perspective of the tree here is really neat. In only a few short lines, the thoughts of both the tree, the children, and the other person are made manifest. And of course, I cannot help feeling sorry for both the tree and the person. Very nice writing!

Wow. It was short as you said, and though there weren't too many words, you really described the trees feelings well. Seemed so real. Beautiful. Keep writing.

BTW...I wrote this at 11:42pm because I felt I needed to write about a tree. (I'm a tree lover!)
This essay/story is dedicated to a Maple Tree back in my old home-state before my family moved.
I would play there, take naps, and read in it's branches, and just escape from my life there.
You can actually see my special tree in the cover picture of this story. (Yes, I took that picture!)
