Hey, I just wanted to let you know how much this story means to me.

I have read it through at least five times in the last 7 years. I found it when I was 15, and I believe the latest installment was still being updated. I read it at lunch time at school instead of talking to my friends - they were very annoyed - because I just couldn't stop.

Seeing the progression in every single character was just... wow.

Then when the next year started, a lot of new students joined my school. One of them I somehow coerced into reading every single of the books - as they were all out at this point.
I had a fantastic time quizzing her every morning, getting her to rank the sons in order of favourite.

This girl and I bonded over so many things, but this was honestly one of the key defining moments in our friendship. To the extent that I have always been Cole in her contacts, and she has always been Phinn - the same nicknames stayed with us on facebook messenger too. We actually messaged you in maybe... 2013? To tell you we loved your story and also to ask your pronouns (we were 16 and dumb and i think phrased it 'are you a boy or girl?' as opposed to anything inclusive but I digress.

When we moved into our flat, we spent a while coming up with a name for our new place. After a few minutes one of us said 'The Kingdom of Rainbows' and it was a no brainer to pick that.

I lost her four months ago and my life is never going to be the same again. It's strange that I read this story before I knew her, and I can read it again after knowing her.

But at the same time... this story that YOU created was such an integral and important part of our friendship. And she meant the world to me - I couldn't begin to explain. I cannot thank you enough for all the happiness it gives me, and gave my best friend. All the injokes - 'that is some Cole level character progression', 'please don't go Quentin on me', the tears we cried together over Irving, and TURNER. This story, all 9 books of 50 chapters, will stay with me for the rest of my life. I will come back and reread it again and again and again.

I just needed you to know how important this world was to me, and to her - something that only existed due to your determination and willingness to share your work with the rest of the world. You changed our worlds, and I will always be thankful.

I honestly stayed up til 3 am two nights in a row just to finish re-reading this entire series and I am 100% floored by how amazing it still is since I last read it four years ago.

I can't believe it is over! What's it been since Rain? Three or four years of updates every other day? It is seriously amazing. I will miss Elena and her friends. Sounds good that you will be writing another story in a while! I'll definitely read it. Applauses to you for being such an awesome and tenacious writer!

Also I want to say that Phinn and Elena are the best couple in the entire universe and no one will ever top their LOVE and I cry every time I think about them and their perfection.

JFC haven't reviewed once during the entire book ;A; So sorry about. But college just ended for the year, so I'm excited to catch up! But I did read this chapter and cried all over the place. I knew Turner had passed away, and it was so awful and heartbreaking just AHHHH NO. Of all the people. Oh maandmnfd. I did tear up near the end of the chapter. Great call back to the beginning of the series. Gosh it feels like almost yesterday I was reading the first chapter! I'm excited to see what you have coming up next. I'm sure it'll be another exciting experience. Can't wait to reeeeead.

This story topped all the stories I've ever read. And I liked the mention of the butterfly from the beginning of the story. I'm seriously in tears and so happy that we got to see all their childrenT_T Thank you so much for sharing this story with us.

This is one of my all time favourite stories, as a book rather than a 'fiction press', if this was ever published I would buy it. And it would go on my shelf of favourite books, specifically next to my bed for midnight reading.
Your character development was simply amazing, the way Cole and Phinn (and more) progressed throughout brought it to life, and the actionpacked storyline was great!
It was also so well thought out, with everything inter-connecting- you were kept guessing to the very end.

Well done, especially for finishing this (I never finish my own stories, and you wrote SO MUCH!), and I will forever hold it in my heart 3

A perfect ending for a great series. All the characters have grown so much and each chapter brought new surprises to keep the stories interesting - I still miss Turner though. I have loved reading these books since I first found them so thank you for writing them and I hope the next story lives up to its precedent.

I was supposed to review every chapter, but I was always finding out it had been updated before I had to rush off, so it got read and then I fled. (look at me rhyme!) Anyway, so sad that it's over but happy with the ending, despite Turner I not being with them.

I loved the last two lines, pretty sure they were the first of the first book, right? Well, they were in that first chapter, I'm sure.

I don't know what else to say. It was a brilliant, original, fantastic, emotional, complex and deep series and I am so, so glad I gave it a chance. I will definitely be reading this series again, and will be keeping an eye out for the next story you upload.

This was so sad, but I liked Lawsons toast and Phinns was funny. I'm gonna be honest, id rather it had been Ryder too, ever since she showed her true colors I didn't like her as much, but I'm glad shes redeeming herself. And that was really sweet of sage and garret to name their child Turner, I really hope its a boy lol I really like their idea of a funeral, not to mourn a death but to celebrate a life.
