Reviews for 1000 Cranes For Love |
---|
![]() ![]() ![]() I actually read this a year or so ago, but I couldn't think of what to say, as I usually do for most stories I read. I guess I just wanted to say that I really appreciated the fluffiness of your story. Good job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well, after the two's feelings all but erupted they were forced to be honest with each other, in a awkward way but they were awkward the whole time so might as well be consistent. Well, this was a short but sweet story, the feelings between Seriko and Ryuusuke felt authentic so nice job with that. Hope you keep writing, keep up the good work and hopefully till next time. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well...keep a lid on things to long and its bound to blow up, and boy did it blow up. Well, nothing legit blew up but still, her inability to express her self properly might cause her to lose quite a lot, but seems like Ryuusuke feels guilty to so, we will see. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a nice chapter that showed implied why she kept losing her imperfect origami with the other girls talking to her about it, accidentally talking too much about something. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, the extremely romantic activity of handing one's task off to another. Well, shows they can back each other up so that's nice, though " Ryu-kun" seems just a tad bitter about it. And well, another day, another chapter, we will see where this leads. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is a nice way to start the story. We get some good glimpses of Ryuusuke and Seriko personality and how the two bounced on each other's. I like how the story start straight to the point and give us enough detail about their morning life and understand their point of view a little. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Well we got a papery project that deals with the nuances of relationships and how men and woman see things and...that's that. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey there Yuuenchi been looking around and saw your story and thought it would be fun to give it a whirl. Looks like we got a romantic tale here, and well, it starts off in not the most lovely direction, but I suppose true lovers can snap at each other without hesitation eh? Sounds like Ryuusuke and and Seriko have a lot of things to work through, well, we will see how things go in school. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ryuusuke is spoiling Seriko again. He seems to do it out of habit while his friends misinterprets his actions. It's sweet that he feels more at home with Seriko than with his own family. |
![]() ![]() ![]() It's ironic that Ryuusuke views the origami as trash when it's actually a proclamation of love for him (I'm assuming because of the title). But how is Ryuusuki supposed to know? Hopefully, Seriko builds the nerve to speak up. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Seriko just gave Ryuusuke pneumonia. Kept me wondering until the end whether you'd have a happy ending or a sad ending. I can certainly glean some insight from you about writing shorter stories. Long epics are nice, but writing a well-done short story is a talent in itself. Anyways. Nice to see a (spoiler) heartwarming ending. The final conversation between the two and the subsequent admission of their feelings was diabetes-inducingly sweet. Maybe you could have done more to build up to the ending and give it that extra punch. But it was a very warm fuzzy feelings sort of ending all the same. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Poor Ryuusuke. He cleans up a bedroom and gets into trouble when he stumbles across a pair of underwear. It's apparent that he has spoiled Seriko, and her friends are making things worse for him. I wonder when Seriko will start appreciating the small things he does for her. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love how the crux of their argument is built around a misunderstanding caused by lack of information (Isn't this often the case in disagreements between people?). Ryuusuke doesn't understand why Serina is so upset and Serina doesn't understand why Ryuusuke is bothering to clean up after her. But I felt like the buildup to the argument wasn't quite there for the actual explosion to have the intended impact. It just came rather suddenly and the characters' reactions seemed overexaggerated given the situation as a result. The latter part of the chapter, though, was well-played. I can easily tell that Ryuusuke is crushed by their argument, but it seems not even he realizes why he's depressed about it. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Everybody in the class seems rather concerned about Seriko and Ryuusuke's relationship. Ryuusuke would make a great wife indeed. So dedicated, so neat, so talented. I would have thought something more would come out of the dinner date, though. Just noticed this story's complete. Guessing that the next chapter's gonna be a big one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was a short chapter. Obviously, Seriko's wish is related to Ryuusuke. Kyaaa, how romantic! |
