Nice! It's sweet that Jake and Emily are still together, regardless of everything that has happened.

So I just read this thing in one go and I have to say that you are a very talented writer. My only comment with grammar/punctuation is that occasionally (once a chapter or so) you'll misspell a word, and sometimes you forget to use commas. Other than that, you're pretty much perfect.
The story is written fantastically, and I admire how you hinted at things so subtly in the beginning of the novel. This is an amazing story and I can't wait to read more!

I thought it was a bit too forward and with how it goes into other peoples perspectives it this all at the same time? Or at different times of the day? I am a bit confused. But I am going to keep reading and see how things go.

So Emily's father is working for the bad guys? What does that make HER? Is she human? But she has to be - otherwise her father might have tried training her or something and she#d have noticed having some abilities herself. I still think Jake's not telling her is the wrong decision. I think she's much stronger than he's giving her credit for - and she's already way too involved- So, in the end she will have to choose. Hopefully she will understand why Jake chose not to tell her!

Oh that's soooo mean! why can't Jake just tell Emily? He loves her! I get it that he wants to protect her. But he shouldn't do this if he is serious about her. I think she would surprise him if he told her...

Who the heck is Ivan? Hopefully he's someone who can erase memories without killing the person... Poor Olivia! The only thing she did was being smart.
And too bad Jake couldn't tell Emily! I totally loved the Emily-Jake alone time. Anyways, I think if Emily's father found out, he might try and seperate them. But if Jake and Em just went along with what they feel, maybe their parents /guardians might realise that their relationship goes way deeper than a simple teenager love story. And they might realize that forcing them to stay away from each other would mean something like going against nature...? Can't wait to read more. The plot is thickening and the time until the bad guys arrive is ticking by...

Well, this was intense. So her father is from the other alien race? And what does this make Emily? There must be a reason why she and Jake feel this weird pull. I can't wait when they find out about each other... :D So hopefully, there will be some more Jake/Emily interaction coming soon...?

Poor Jake. And this powerful Old One - could it possibly be Jake's real father? Or maybe the immortal's Emily's father - since there has to be a reason why she and Jake seem to be soul mates. Maybe she's alien too, but doesn't know it? And it would explain why her father is so rich. It's also kind of suspicious that he had to leave for business although Emily knew perfectly well the trip wasn't really necessary. Plus, he being tired seems similar to Jake's behaviour (I mean, he even fell asleep on Emily, so he must have been really tired). What will the other Ithaens do with Jake if they spot him? Will they force Jake to leave everything behind and fight?

Really like the character development in this chapter especially for Jake. Keep that up, I'd like to see some more for Luke though. He could be a really likeable character (which I think that is what you are going for), but right now it's evident enough. Next chapter should really delve into the relationship between these friends move the plot forward with his dream I think. Keep writing though, it's very entertaining.
