So I just finished re-reading this to Layla, and realised I hadn't left a review at the end the first time around! Silly me... anyway, both me and my daughter loved this story (so much that she asked me to read it with her a second time!) You've scattered action and suspense through a nicely told story of good vs evil, and though it seems as if evil is winning, your heroes manage to save the day. We did like the way you ended things, with not everything being clear-cut black and white, as so many older kids'/young teens' books end. People (and apparently dolphins) do sometimes have to act against their own morals to do something for a greater cause, and you've put that across very well. You have also left some little loose ends hanging around... is there a sequel in the works, by any chance? Just asking ;)

Layla is loving this so far, very nice work building up the suspense! We're both wondering what Nads and Nazar saw down in the caves now, it'll have to wait until tomorrow though!

This is great so far! Reading it with my 11 yr old daughter, she's really into it.
