I really liked it so far, but this is turning into those stories full of misunderstanding because the two love interests can't communicate like normal people and I really hate those; it's just frustrating for the reader. Reading a story just waiting to see two people get their heads out their asses is a waste of time, or so I think. Too bad.

This story is just... Perfect.

I was expecting lot's of short little one-shots but this was a huge chapter! And it had quite a lot of relationship development which I wasn't really expecting from a one-shot.
Love the two of them, so this put a big smile on my face.

I did enjoy reading this but hope you don't mind a little constructive criticism - it could do with a bit of a proof read! A few spelling errors (per se, not per-say; deja-vu, not dey-ja-vu; sixties not sixty's, confusion of past and passed etc) and I think you have used the wrong character names once or twice (Stella for Bella in chapter 11 for instance).
Just minor irritations really but for me they did slightly get in the way of what otherwise was a well-written story.

Even if you're not used to one-shots that was very nice. It was pretty separate and complete on its own but it could've blended in as a chapter too. Speaking of... what's the likelihood of a sequel to the this?

I dunno how I missed this story, I guess I added this to my favorites a while ago but never read it until just now. I'm glad I went back through your stories like a stalker and found out that I didn't actually read this one yet like I'd thought I did! :P Aaaaanyway, I loved it and just wanted to say thanks for sharing it, along with all your other pieces! I like that your characters aren't just the typical white guy's name. Haha forreal though, most stories have protagonist's named David or Sam

ANYWAY, Thirsk and Ket are PERFECT together. Ahhh, I love how easily (well maybe not for them cuz they didnt know) they fell in love like it was just meant to be. And they obviously were meant to be, I mean who expects to fall in love with a random drunk in a gutter? Certainly not me. But Thirsk is just so cute and Ket is just so cute, IT WAS FATE.

Nice story. I really liked the main characters and their dynamics. The storyline is a bit nonesensical but sweet nonetheless. :-)

Let me tell you about my day. Woke up at 8am. Went to the design center and spent a couple hours picking out the colours/fixtures/what the heck ever for the house I'm about to buy. Went back to the apartment hub's work is leasing for him while we house hunt/he establishes himself. Took a 1 1/2 hour nap. Got up. Packed. Loaded the car. Drove eight hours back to the house with two kids-one six, one four. Fixed up all of my pets with fresh food and water since their sitter wasn't available for the four days I was up north and I was only able to get a friend to check food and water levels while I was gone and tell me to get home early if needed. Unpacked, threw in a load of laundry, went to bed.
The point of this tale? I finished chapters one through ten on your story before bed. I am writing this and straight to sleep. No joke, I read like, ten paragraphs at both of my gas stops, and I read a few paragraphs waiting in line at the drive through for some food to keep the rabid creatures (AKA kids in the backseat) quiet... LOL
And then stayed up about thirty minutes later than planned to finish out the last chapter. Liked it that much.

I loved that you gave the MC's time to figure out that their feelings were more than infatuation. I liked that they took time to get to a physical relationship. I liked that the ex wasn't just a total B. I loved the tension, and the eventual sex scene was very well written.
I'm looking forward to tackling your other stories shortly. XD

one- I cannot believe how under-appreicated your stories are, they should have way more reviews.
two- i really kind of want to beg you to extend it more than 10 chapters, these characters are amazing. do you think that you'll do one-shots or something when the stories finished? that way there doesn;t have to be a plot, but the characters are still present. but anyway,ive fallen in love with this story, can't believe its nearly finished!
