![]() ![]() OMG! This was really an amazing story. I just love how Hunter's character built up to be such a sweet person and the overall style of your story was flawless. I really loved it! Thank you for sharing it with us :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() I literally am crying, WOW this story was so amazing! I absolutely LOVED it! It ended so beautifully! :') :') :') :') -AP31 |
![]() ![]() ![]() Awwwww! I'm forever wishing I had a Hunter. |
![]() ![]() I really enjoyed this fic for a few reasons: 1. There is such a character development in Hunter; I like that he becomes this sweet guy 2. The little snappy things that Carly says add to the environment of the story 3. Most of the main characters are enjoyable, for example I loved Scott and Jake! 4. I very much enjoyed how you ended with Hunter tying up the loose ends by saying that he surrenders and that he's sick of the game: it was a very sweet, mood-setting, top-of-the-peak scene! however, there are some things I am confused about or didn't enjoy quite as much: 1. like I said, I enjoyed Jake because he's sweet and cute, but I didn't like the way that he was just kind of a jerk when he was rejected. I just feel like that ruins it for those who liked him. 2. The whole time, Natalie was very persistent about Hunter being a jerk; it kind of makes me feel like you're building up tension between Nat and Carly. It makes it seem like Nat is going to betray Carly or stage something to break her and Hunter up; just like what Isa did. Otherwise, I very VERY VEEERY much enjoyed this story and I hope to be seeing-or reading- more by you! |
![]() ![]() this was amazing finished in one day:) i would defenitely pay to see his as a movie or drama! just saying BUT ONE QUESTION! What happens to them?, like do they ever get married?, when do they get married? how many kids do they have? what happens!? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hi, I've only read the first chapter of this story and I'm hooked! Hunter sounds hot, and Carly is pretty cool too - I can't wait to meet her brother. Nat's personality comes across really well, especially for this only being the first chapter. I'm off onto Chapter Two now :) CW |
![]() ![]() ![]() It ended in such a lovely, hopeful way. Every time there is a big change in lifestyle, it stirs up doubt and uncertainty in relationships, especially when one person gets left behind. The tiff they had was understandable under those stressful circumstances. Of course, I liked how they made up in that warm, sweet way. This was a good epilogue, and the update on their relationship in the Back-Up Plan complimented it well. Together, these stories gave us a satisfying conclusion to Carly and Hunter's relationship. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That brought back so many memories from the Back-Up Plan. I'm feeling sentimental now since this is almost the end of the story. Oh my goodness, I would have felt TERRIBLE for Jake if I hadn't read his story first. Instead, I was able to completely enjoy all the drama taking place. First there was all the girly fun with Nat, and the great moment when Carly and Hunter saw each other all dressed up for the dance. And the sexy singing of those provocative lyrics by Hunter. I like that they did their own thing instead of grinding like everyone else. My favorite part was his wild, passionate declaration about not wanting to take it slow. I love when the cool guy loses control like that! This was a very satisfying chapter. It gave us everything that we've been waiting for and more. This story grew on me, as did Hunter. My favorite character was Carly, since I always become the most attached to the main character. As for picking my favorite part, I don't know. I just enjoyed the story overall as a thoroughly fun read. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This chapter was excellent! I'm weird, but I loved the angsty vibe of it. That fight was so unexpected, especially after what Scott said about Hunter. Great dialogue there by the way. Hunter's explanation was realistically brief and complex. He would be too overwhelmed to try to express all his feelings, even if he knew how to convey them. Carly is less afraid of emotional connections than he is. Problems between couples are most often not caused by other people. They are usually about clashing expectations about the relationship, and you've described that accurately here. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I had to keep reading to see what would happen in this chapter. Very humorous and cute! It was endearing how eager he was. I like how he said it's later in such a happy, enthusiastic way. Oh, and the part in the classroom where even the teacher made fun of him for being late because of his hair. Priceless! The part with his mom was fun too. On a more serious note, I'm glad that Carly voiced her concerns. That's certainly an issue that Hunter needs to be aware of. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I like how Scott and Hunter are back to their guy banter. It's funny how guys use joking put downs to show that their friendship is solid. And then there are the brotherly barbs he throws at Carly. It's realistic and fun. The little bit with Jake brought it all back, all the behind the scenes drama from the Back-Up Plan. Carly barely even noticed, because she was naturally focused on Hunter. I can see how it was much too late at this point, especially after the most adorable scene ever with Hunter. That would have been so awkward if you said no-great line! |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was so funny when Scott knew that Hunter was in her room! I really enjoyed the sweet, romantic scenes in this chapter. Hunter has changed so much from how he was at the beginning of this story, and that's a big change for the better. I liked the little talk his mom had with him, and how he admitted that Carly is special to him. I'm so glad it's the weekend, and that I have this story to unwind with. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I forgot to tell you in my previous reviews how happy I am for Nat. It's wonderful that things are going well for her with Sam. This chapter was so cute with Hunter being embarrassed about his lack of skating skills. It showed how much he wanted to see her if he was willing to put himself through that. Falling on the ice was a classic comedy moment that was also rather sexy. You do a good job of writing his flirting, because it's more than what he says. The way he says it is important. That's something he wouldn't lose even when he abandoned the player lifestyle. Showing his sweet side at the end was perfect for the situation. You're right that Carly would have been more scared this time, because she didn't have alcohol to dull the fear. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow, so that puts a snag in their relationship! I like how you're showing the consequences to his actions, because that's the way real life is. A lot of people, including me, tend to gloss over past behavior in our stories. That's not the way it works in real life. People do get put off when they find out bad things about you. I'm disappointed in Nat's friends, though, because they should have given her the benefit of the doubt and not just taken Hunter's word for it. Real friends stick by you. This was a good way to add more drama to the story and make Carly question her new relationship with Hunter. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I laughed when Hunter said the movie sucked. I've heard this opinion so many times on dates, and they won't admit they enjoyed a romantic movie even when they did. I have to admit that I was disappointed when their date was over so soon, but you had a great surprise for your readers when they arrived at her house. I'm sure that everyone else liked that kiss as much as I did. The scene was exciting and sensual, and Hunter warning her that he couldn't go any further added to that. He also without a doubt cares about her. Oh, and I enjoyed the cute scene when they saw each other after the game. This chapter had everything we've been waiting for! |
