Same thing happened to me with notifications... Good consequence though is I got to read two chapters of this in a row... :D
The sexual tension in this was really good, I somehow feel like it should have felt over the top but it was just perfect, and very erotic. Maybe that shows how real the characters seem to me.
I didn't expect Heito to react like this at all, as much as I didn't expect Mekhi to answer to his "proposal" the way he did... I guess I just don't understand manipulative motivations at all... I just hope they get to sort themselves out... And I feel sorry for Gian, but I feel like we didn't get to know his character a lot, and their interaction seemed more like attraction but not really a lot more... Don't know if that's what you intended :)

Hey, even though I loved Cherry Blossoms and I hate Summer, I'll admit to not reading this one because it just doesn't really appeal to me. However, I saw on your profile you were asking questions about our preference for Ket/Thirsk extras, and I would say I like all the things you suggested! I kinda love angst(as long as it gets resolved) and the others are of course great with characters you're invested in. So yup, just thought I'd give my two cents. :)

Oh weird I didn't get an email notice saying you updated so I'm all late reading! But yayyyy they're reunited and what a surprising reunion it was, and also cliff-hangery! So evil! Oh man I used to be so into WoW, addicted even. Lol. I can totally understand the excitement of a new patch/expansion. Enjoy!

Gurggggggg is what I think...I had just accepted Gian,and... and you ruined it ...now I'm so frickin confused as to who mehki should want...and I'm sure if he was real he would be confused too.I mean logically Gian is the best choice- Mehki even admitted he was better than Heito...but then he finally gets home and Heito ruins it and yahhhhh I'm looking forward to updates- a lot. But I hope you enjoy your gaming too, I know this was redundant... But the ending left me with a horrible feeling of gurg...

Oh this story! I'm enjoying the pacing and your quick updates. Even though there are many characters they are fleshed out. You take time even on the minor ones. I admit I'm so taken with Mekhi and Heito's relationship the rest of the characters kind of take a backseat in my head, but I don't like... hate reading about them. I do enjoy it. But I'm all MEKHIHEITOMEKHIHEITO and I need to know what's going to happen next. The only sad thing about this all (okay not ONLY) is I think this will end sadly.

Yes, yes I did miss him! :P I'm excited to see how their reunion goes, Mekhi grew a lot and admitted some pretty important things since he left so I bet it will be tense! You pace the story juuuust right, IMO. Things don't happen too slow or too fast, I like that!

Such beautiful imagery at the beginning of this chapter, really lovely:)

I like how Mekhi took it too far with not saying who he was, it's the sort of thing I can imagine a teenager doing!

That was a fun chapter!
I really like Mekhi's voice and it feels very real. I like all this introspection in these past couple of chapters. At first I thought it would be a shame to stop the brothers' interaction for a few, but I find this really is adding depth to the character and to the story. :D
A couple typos: "teaming with people" (teeming) and "backpacking their" (there). (I don't know if me pointing these out is useful for you).

I love how you breathe life into secondary characters in the story in three paragraphs. First with Sal and now with Gian. That's talent. I like that Mekhi is being forced to face the fact that his sexuality is maybe less what he thought it was, and more something else, though he wasn't interested in Ai even though he thought he was attractive and knew Ai was interested in him. Maybe just not his type, though.

And as for ppl being kicked out for being gay... I volunteer at a youth shelter and its UNBELIEVABLE how many kids are there for coming out. Not all by ANY stretch, but enough that it's rather sickening.

This is a very interesting development, really. And it's nice to have a break from the other drama and let Mekhi have a chance at sorting himself out. :D
For me the change is like Mekhi has stopped repressing his feelings and he's even talking about his liking of Heito to someone else... In a way, making the situation more normal, I guess...

Okay so, I've spent the last couple of days reading this story and my mind is officially blown. It is wonderfully written, the characters are realistic and mineable. I just love this story and can't get enough. I can't wait for an update. I hope they end up happily together at the end. It would break my heart to see two people who care so much for each other to be ripped apart because their to stubborn to admit they love each other. It would just be sad. Anyway don't keep us waiting to long.
