Oh, this story hit me in the feels so many times. Your writing always has emotion in it, which is a rare thing that I can find these days. The ended was just a jab to the heart, and their relationship was full of so many ups and downs that I couldn't turn away. There were so many problems in their relationship yet by the end you want them together. Words cannot express how much I love yet hate this story (hate in a good way, of course). Keep up the good work! :)

Impotent not incompetent.

Welp. I've just finished reading this entire series. Wow, what a feat. I don't regret a thing.
I really did enjoy reading this, from beginning to end, through all the good times and the bad. This story was a roller coaster ride the whole way through. Thank you for the experience, Caprise. I never knew something so dark could become so enrapturing to me.
Despite all that I've read, I sincerely wished that the ending was something more. After all the trauma between the two characters, I figured that an ending that simple would not have brought them to the fairytale-ending that it hints of. The ending was just the slightest disappointment amidst the flawless complexities of your storyline and style of writing.
To me, Leroy would have continued to avoid his feelings, despite being the one who initiated the visit. I did like, however, even in the last few paragraphs, you continued Brody's character development. Yes, people do lose their fitness as they grow older. I don't know anyone else who would've done that.
Anyhow, even after my little rant, I would like to thank you for writing something that captured my attention every step of the way. I'm glad to have read this after it was completed. I don't think I could've endured waiting for chapters as it came out.
One more slightly unrelated note. I'm not sure whether it's just my laptop with this glitch, but the Chapter "Leroy" isn't divided into paragraphs. It's just one big hunk of text.
I hope I haven't discouraged you in any way. On the contrary, I say keep up the good work.

I've been lurking for a while with, since I haven't had much time to read/comment on your stories ( screw highschool...I'll be my best when summer hurries its ass over here), but can I just say WOW, that ending was extremely good. And when I say ending, I mean the very end of chapter 39. Breaking it off at that moment was absolutely perfect.
It's a shame that it's finished, but quite obviously you have more to come, so I'm never disappointed for long. Keep up the good work, will ya? :)

I can't believe it's done, I feel like crying now. This was a beautiful story. The plot and characters were amazing and I love the evolution of Brody and Leroy's relationship. This is a story that I, no doubt, will be telling everyone to read. A phenomenal job, I say, an excelent piece of work that I am glad to have read!

Wow, oh, wow. That was undoubtedly an incredible story. There was lots of emotional depth, plenty of conflict, and so many good, anxious-filled parts. I absolutely love this story and the relationship between Brody and Leroy, getting to watch how it evolved. While I'm sad that they didn't end up together, I feel that what we got to read from their relationship certainly makes up for it. Excellent, fabulous fiction, and I'll certainly recommend it to my readers!

I have such mixed feelings about this end. I'm so glad it didn't end in a cliché way (Brody finds Leroy and everything works out), but I'm also upset that it didn't end like that. But, really, I think it's best that it ended as it did. I think this whole story was absolutely incredible. You know how to really capture the reader's attention and drag all of us in. It was such an adventure reading about the lives of these two boys, watching their ups and downs, hoping for nothing but the best for them. The way it ended was certainly suitable to their relationship, I think.
Will you be doing any other projects pertaining to this story, or is it completely done? If so, would you recommend any other stories of yours for me to read? I love your writing style and your characters, so I'd enjoy seeing more of your stuff.

Uhg, this chapter has me so close to tears! :'( It was beautifully written!

That was a really good chapter because Brody is finally getting somewhere with his feelings. I'm kind of glad that he's going back to Leroy, but I hope Leroy feels the same admiration upon seeing him.

Go go go Brody! Go fight for Leroy!

Oh, that chapter really hurt. I mean, good for Leroy because he totally deserves the full ride and everything, and I completely see where he's coming from with his relationship with Brody. However, I understand how Brody feels about not being told about such a huge decision made by Leroy. But he made it clear that Leroy was only used for his protection and that their relationship was more of a giant apology to Leroy than one constructed of love. While I know that was a horribly difficult decision for Leroy, like he said, there's nothing left for him there, so I'm glad he's willing to move on (don't know if I'd be able to make the same decision, though). Very excited for the new development on all of this.

Also, the formatting sadly had messed up a bit, but it was still easy to read since there's formatting options on the top of the page!

That was a really hot chapter, firstly. Secondly, I feel really bad for Leroy since he's in love with a man who won't return the feelings. That really Sucks for him, but at least Brody is willing to admit that he does have feelings for Leroy. It's a start! And I love how Leroy has become less serious and is more willing to admit to himself his real feelings, despite the situation.

Terrifically phenomenal chapter and I just can't wait for more to come!
