well, Derrick has a girlfriend, but he never told Cas about her. He is obviously into Cassie... Despite his icy exterior and otherwise mature ways, he is awfully immature in emotions department. And I feel bad for Ryan, who seems like a nice guy for Cassie to use him. Oh, well, somebody is bound to have his heart broken.

I really like that Derrick is such a tight pants guy. He has routine and standardized approach to everything. His lines he uses when he does not want to reply to Cassie - are an awesome idea! I also like how is almost a caricature of a guy who is too focused on being in control and therefore, even little ways he can be out of control shake him.

Omg I'm so sorry I stopped reviewing tomboy but it got way to fluffy for me once they "did it" but this story is great too I love cassie. And you like to write a lot about guys that act like they have 0 feelings

My favorite chapter so far. Cassies personality and motivations are becoming more clear. And Derrick seems to be keeping to his profile. It is nice to get a glimpse of his life and what interests him. When will she start acting more mature instead of doing this childish thing that does not work for him?
