Reviews for Daughters of Zeus
anonymousse chapter 3 . 12/30/2013
This story (or collection of interconnected one-shots) is excellent. Sorry you haven't gotten any other reviews yet, because this deserves more attention. The diction is just timeless enough to be suitable for immortal goddesses' dialogue (not too modern, but not formal enough to sound melodramatic). That's not an easy task.

I've always imagined Hebe would be a little neglected on Olympus, since her father would be distracted by her many siblings with flashier powers, so your characterization of her really resonated with me.

Also, kudos for making the three (Hebe, Athena, and Artemis) sympathetic, even while showing how much the Olympians interfere with mortal affairs. It's easy for modern audiences to portray the gods as cruel because their rules seem harsh to us, but you made Artemis just as pitiable as Callisto.

Well done all around! :)
