When you live in tough times, lives are lost and he had five good years with him, but in a life of 2500 years that is almost nothing. So tragic.
He obviously has some type of magic, so he can only use it on himself or things not people, then there is no way to protect someone with his magic, which is twice tragic.
Will he will 'grow up' again in another family or just wander around for a while? I find it interesting that he has that type of magic in him and I look forward to finding out why and how he was cursed (and the one who can release him from it?)
