I often to read the story from start till Chapter 9 and often feel myself longing for the day you'll update and give us Chapter 10! It's been almost 5 years buy hey, a girl can hope. Fantastic story.

Pretty interesting

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve read this story, and after a couple years of maturing, I feel like I now can formulate my thoughts about your story better.

So I utterly despise Jens, and I always have. He’s a selfish, creepy, pedophilic a**hat. I understand it’s a different time, but still, taking advantage of an emotionally damaged and vulnerable girl going through a horrific, traumatic experience is no excuse for his behavior. He is an adult man— a man spared and praised by the very society that wants her and her people dead— and a friend of her father’s. She is dependent on him for survival. The difference in power, circumstantially and socially, is exponential. Jens is abusive and thoughtless. He puts this poor girl in that coffin unnecessarily so he can have his way with women. He actually puts her through all that misery and discomfort so he can “unleash his desires for her” and get his willy wet. And then he has the audacity to punish her by having sex with these women in his living room— and for what? She didn’t want to have sex with him? She has the right to say no. That’s immature and petty. It’s downright humiliating.

And then Jens has this imaginary “unbearable” sexual attraction for her. Oh and this is explains why he’s such a creep. She shouldn’t have to lock her door to control HIS sex drive. He needs to get over himself. His urges are not more important than her well being, and he needs to stop exaggerating. His needs are not more important than her consent.

And then the only reason Elsa is even remotely attracted to him is because he always pulls the “Im trying” or the “I think it’s fair” card on her. Which is also utter bull because this is a basic case of Stockholm syndrome. She can’t go anywhere and she can’t talk to anyone else. She is deprived of social contact and can’t seek comfort from anyone. And it’s really sad. Because this guy is the only one she can turn to. Why of course she would start to warm up to him. And yeah he saved her, but that doesn’t mean she has to be his sex slave.

But despite my grievances with Jens, I love the pacing in the chapters and the attention to detail you have. It’s very much unlike any other writer on this site. I clearly don’t want her to end up with that psycho, and I feel like that’s an opinion not shared by your other audience. Since this has been left incomplete, i have sort of created my own imaginary fanfic ending where Elsa resists his affection, endures her horrible sistuation until the end of WWII, and leaves Jens and his creepy ole self and marries Greg, a handsome, ripped millionaire with a cool ass goat-t, in America. Becomes hella rich and buys a yacht. The end.

I know it's been three years, but please update! I need to know how it ends! I hope Elsa survives and that she and Jens can work things out! Please update! This is one of the best stories I have found on this website! Pretty please? Bitte?

Please continue this story it's so marvelous. I love the slow burn romance between these characters and I'd love to see how they fare through the war. I do hope that they have a happy ending :)

this is really interesting so far and I hope that Elsa would eventually warm up to Jens. I'm afraid that this story will end so abruptly since there's only 6 more chapters and you haven't updated yet.

Not your typical opposites attract. Really liking this story. Only criticism is your constant jumping between first person and third person. Eg. One minute it I'll be "I sighed" the next it will be "she sighed". It isn't very noticeable when you're immersed in the story but it's become more be more obvious as I've read on. I'm hoping you're not having weiter's block, if so I pray you escape it and start writing again soon :)

I really think you should keep writing this. You captured the conflicting emotions and raw desire clashing with naivety wonderfully!
