|Reviews for Love Him in Heart|
| ScribingSarah chapter 2 . 9/13/2017
Reading this made me so sad. Both of them felt unloved and Harriet's experience certainly had pain and trauma.

I'm rereading this and the one-sidedness of this arrangement just broke my heart all over again /3

I so love this story! The characters are very well fleshed out and their interactions are so amazingly frustrating! I also think a conversation like this was bound to happen. In my opinion, neither would ever come right out and say what they felt to each other, so even scandalous flirtation would be less shocking to either of them than a direct conversation about the possibility of renewed intimacy.
I sincerely hope your muse stays with you! Hope to see an update soon!

I don't know if I've ever reviewed before but I was so excited to see this notification! I'll definitely have to reread this something to reacquaint myself with the characters. Their banter at the end about breeding was so clever and witty, I laughed out loud haha. Have you ever considered putting your vignettes for this story as a separate story, perhaps a collection of oneshots? I know I would definitely read them. I know writing demands a lot of time and effort, especially when it's so well-written, but I can't wait to see what happens next! :)

I rather enjoyed their conversation. :)

Only you could write such art.
Out of the many I've read, I find myself increasingly unsatisfied by how little quality there is to them. Indeed, how little quality there is to most romance novels in the market. Romance, to me, is a study in emotion and psychology, as well as sweet and fulfilling writing. Your writing, I profess, is a study on how to write romance successfully!
If I met you, the first thing I'd ask is how did you learn such art. The second thing I'd say is, I'd pay for someone to spend some time teaching me the art.
Your story moves almost at a deliberately languid pace, as I've said before. You require the reader to put a huge amount of emotional investment in the characters before they finally get their satisfactory ending. Yet you still have not reached the end! This is proper and good pacing.
Often romance novels come to the crux of the relationship, the most important part, the part where they first truly understand each other, with no proper build up. In this case, you have not just a proper build up, but the pressure is reaching bursting point.
I do not mind the long periods of time between chapters. If that is what it takes to produce such art and quality, then so be it.

This chapter was great. I'm so happy that they are becoming closer to each other and it's fun to watch them struggle through it given the time frame you have written for them.
Looking forward to more. - Shelley
